  1. Personally I think the black cheapens the look of the front end giving an unfinished look, can't fathom the point of it... Quite literally my 2 cents!
  2. Hi there, I have a Vorshlag E36 Competition Steering Shaft Assembly that I no longer require. Perfect for any one with an E36 they track regularly. After $245, originally this part set me back $445 late last year! See my Trade Me listing for further details Trade Me
  3. Ahh the good old days. Been a while since I've dabbled with CS... I agree with Marty on the 1.6 version though, I still think it's the pick of the bunch.

Possibly one of the best E30s I've seen here, impossible to improve I think. 10/10 points that it still has a chrome grille!
  5. A wise safety feature if you have rear passengers often! Look quite cool I think too...
  6. Get a Remus from Woolf muffler. $650 from them when I bought one 2 years ago. Great value.
  7. Yeah not surprised on what Greg Said. Any system with straight pipes at the rear end is going to sound harsh... You need a good muffler at the back of the car to give it a smooth, controlled sound with more depth.
  8. Welcome, Good Choice! Should be a nice change trying out a German performance car. It would be an interesting comparison coming to an M3 from an EVO 9, given they are a very capable car!
  9. Agreed. Although aren't the bumpers meant to be black?.. and whats up with the droping lower bumper section. Hmmm

    New dentures.

I have one false implated tooth, that job alone was 4.5k I would go to a reputable place in Thailand if I was after a bargain set of new teeth.
  11. Make a CAD drawing of the original grilles and take it to a plastic moulding company, they will be able to make your up some black ones from scratch.
  12. Hahaha ^ In all seriousness if you want to loose the 'rushing' jet plane sound, you need to loose any single exhaust sections, replace them with dual straight pipes, a pair of resonators and an X pipe... The rear mufflers are equally important, they need to be straight through, not the baffled style which kill the sound.
  13. If you're expecting to go faster with such an upgrade you're better off to just sell the car and get an E39 model with a bigger engine, at least a 528i.
  14. What a beauty! I agree that it does look somewhat superior to the 635csi that appeared in the late 70s
  15. Cool thanks. Yeah I've been searching through off the self stuff, but nothing has the right dimensions, built in sender & filler location etc for this application.
  16. Hi, Just wanting to know if anyone here has had a custom fuel tank fabricated to spec by an appropriate engineer? I could probably get my engineer friend to weld up a basic tank to my specs, but I want one made up that has all the specific requirements met for such a risky component of the car hence me prefering to go to a pro to build one... I've searched around and found a few possible companies that could build me a tank, but just wanted to ask here in case someone had some experience. In case you're wondering the reason for this is that I need a custom drop tank to sit bellow the rear boot floor between the exhaust system as the stock fuel tank up front gets in the way of the dual exhaust layout - of which can't be altered in anyway so the fuel tank has to be changed...... Boy to I make thing complicated, haha. Anyway, any feedback on the said topic would be appreciated.

    M3 vs rocks

Awful driving.... Yeah Andy... I was thinking it was a shame the air bag DID go off. Sigh.
  18. Oh my lord. Chinese glass in a BMW. What next. I'd be sure to pay extra for the real deal.

    Project 30

Looks like a nice example. I would be inclined to have a chrome grille on it however.
