About 3 months ago I was offered a free one I designed for 1JZ / 2JZ Soarers and the boss said I could have the sample one in my car, but I was reluctant and declined hahahaha They're fine at the end of the day, but the odd ones do like to have header plate to tube failures from what I've seen. The factory most of the full alloys are made in also do Redline's range of radiators too, and some other performance shops.
-
True that! haha, I've always liked transparent cabins all the way around, but yeah I forget about the physical benefits.
-
Awesome, love the wheels. Bet it drives well! Only things I would do if it were mine, - Delete window tints - Chrome grille - Orange front indicators - OEM radiator over Fenix one. - Standard headlights - Add standard foglights
-
Yep The boss has overspent grossly on failed product to expand the company. I'm the 7th person to be made redundant out of a work force of 25 people, go figure
-
I love BMW brakes compatibility, its really good! Toyota parts pictured of course, stock crap 275mm rotors to the bigger 296mm rotors with better pads. The next upgrade I can do is use Lexus LS400 brakes up front, 4 pot 320 x 32mm, but I'll reserve that for the V8 car at some stage.

Got made redundant on Friday - last day is the 30th of this month! Quite glad on the whole, I can finally focus on my own agenda and ventures instead of wasting my time working for a company going nowhere

Safer option than supercharging the M62, I think while others have had varied success it's not the greatest engine to boost long term. Anything is possible but I personally think they are a better engine to keep NA and look after given they're 20 years old.
-
You'd be better off upgrading the engine to an S62 or use one of those GM lumps to be really cool!
-
Upgraded brakes! Cost effective slight upgrade.
-
That's awesome, well done. You must be very pleased. Excellent colour

The pictures certainly don't give it any justice. It would probably come up better with a good clean too. Then again the fact its non an M sport would limit its appeal.
-
Wow, that blue is awesome. Do it!

Auto? This car would be right up my alley! -
The six or so flat spots in the graph. Probably nothing, but just stood out, particularly at the top end.

Pretty sure thats lamp oil and BBQ cleaner..

Mmmm yeah that did cross my mind. I see they already run an H pipe before the Y resonator. Might be quieter again if you turn it into an X, but that would change the overall tone quite a bit. Ive still got some spare exhaust parts, those new mafnaflow cats and a pair of small resonators from an Audi S6 V10, not sure if Ill use them on the V8.

Looking cool Dave

Power curve raises a few questions about the tune eh?
