  8. I was using my E30 chassis number which is a face lift car. Not sure what the second prong does but my gauge is working fine.
  9. I know the plug has 2 terminals but never seen a 2 prong type sensor. Parts number for my car all bring up temp sensor with one prong.
  10. Pretty sure its the same one. Wanted 34 or 35,000 last time i was on. Nothing wrong with tow bars, you be wishing you had one when someone rear ends you.

  12. I think so. Here's what suppose to look like. Id buy a new one put it in proper place
  13. Just wondering why your temp sensor is mounted where it is. Ever bmw ive seen has it next to the coolant sensor
  14. Brown sensor for the gauge cluster Blue for the coolant temp sensor If replacing the sensor doesn't work try taking out the gauge cluster and checking gauge contact points

    Uh Oh

If i had a bit of spare cash id buy it so i could shoot\blow it up.
  18. Last time i priced one up was $300 for a viscous fan clutch. I buy a new one, dont know how good second hand ones are or how long they gonna last.
  19. ^exactly, especially when they got the M logo tacked onto the front or below on the model designation. Makes me laugh
  20. Yeah had that happen the other day. Apparently me and my mate were drag racing and 3 witnesses saw us, cops turn up and starting talking to us separately. I get the good cop, being all nice when asking question's. My mate gets the bad cop who has a tone and keeps telling him you mate has confessed to racing. Once had a cop turn me over because "looked a bit young to be driving". Saw me go out of a shop into my car and waiting around the corner, pulled me over and did the usual checks.
  21. Exactly. Did all the suspension with urethane when i did my overhaul, completely different car. Not so much a comfortable drive anymore but going 100+ seems smooths it out a lot. Makes you want to keep driving like you were saying.
  22. Ive used Redline MTL in my gearbox, less notchy and helped sort my 1st>2nd change hitch. I paid $31 for 900ml bottle at BNT. Got some Redline 75W90 for my LSD too.
  23. Priced some up from BM workshop a month ago. $160 each for the fronts, $155 each for the rear. Brand was Zimmerman. Decent price. Just got some rear Rensa pads for my 750i for $69 from BM warehouse.
