  1. Plenty on trademe. They use a serial port which most laptops have(although im not sure about new ones). Plently of older PC's have motherboards which you can add an serial port to and you can get usb>R232(serial port) adapters(dont really trust them myself) and PCI-E serial port cards if you dont have one.
  2. Way ive always bleed my M20 and M30's Block the overflow tube with finger Put mouth over the expansion tank( basically using your mouth to keep system pressurized and push air out ) Uncrew the bleeder and blow Helps if someone to check that no air coming out the bleeder but i find doesnt take many blows and you can always close the bleeder if you need a rest Bit weird but worked every time for me
  3. Same as me., i used to like them as well as was looking at buying one years ago but ending up getting an E34 in the end. Ive driven a few and they go ok for what they are but looking at the now they look like the usual toyota with no style.
  4. Just download it off torrents
  5. May have an air pocket. It sounds like you got it sussed what to do
  6. Never owned a console in my life, started out on the old 386, 5 1\2 floppy were the sh*t. PC for life Did use to play alot of Streets of Rage and Double dragon etc on my mates Megadrive thou and still play alot of classics on the emulators.
  7. Got mine off Dan(driftit) who iirc had some made up.

Just ordered one from Coombes Johnstone BMW for my E38, $180 for a std key without remote locking which i think is around 400
  10. Got a setup that looks the same as the one brent posted on the E38 740i and it sounds good without being loud. Mufflers are def stock on mine

Good tip, learn something new everyday
  14. Used to love Subaru SVX's and was going to buy one as my first car but decided on E34 instead, still dont mind them. Cant see myself ever liking the an E60
  15. V12 doesn't use that much more fuel when cruising, around town where it sucks it
  16. Had a look at that grey one and it was pretty tidy apart from rolling on 4 different brands of tyres haha. Also this one http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-344887840.htm. Not sure why he doesn't just paint the front already.
  17. Ive had Escort X50, Bel RX65 and V1 which are all top detectors and currently running the V1 at the moment. The V1 has alot of useful features that others dont have, some of which some have been mentioned, V1 also can have its firmware upgraded but are paying another couple of hundy. As for detection i found Bel and Escort did the job just as well as the V1 while being cheaper. IMO it comes down to if you want to spend a bit more or not. The new police radar vans use a low freq K band which i find get you only a couple of seconds warning with a good detector, also you will get all the false alerts from automatic doors.
  18. My E38 740il gets 8.5L\100 compared to 10L in the 535i, hardly better than my old E32 750i. The M60 is much more refined but still prefer the bulletproof big six
  19. Good to see its still in the family. Shouldn't give you any grief for a long time if you treat her right, solid E30. Still have the front lip i meant to give to mark
  20. Final measurement of rear camber seems a bit odd considering how it started. Rest seem ok to me but not used to see measurements in degrees

    e30 325i 5spd 1989

Good to hear. Still in the bimmersport family?
  23. I agree with kiwi535 and get they latest one you can at the time. I'd never buy one that was earlier than 1982 as suspension setup is too archaic. Good site for info if you haven't already found it - http://www.e-24.ru/eng/theory/evolution/ . ' They changed something every year almost. Wanting a 635csi one of these days, just holding out for a tidy decently priced manual.
