2 pointsThanks all... Has been an excellent day so far, including a voucher from my bro in the UK to take a spin in a Lambo Gallardo around Hampton. Fun!! Am hunting that perfect 8er to have a proper midlife crisis in.

1 pointHas anyone else noticed that Ebay is scamming customers by pushing sellers of products to use their global shipping policy and charging "import fees" on items that do not attract any fees. Many of Ebays own companies are in on the scam as well. Just recently I was about to purchase items when I noticed that not only were the shipping charges much higher than usual but also that at the check out there were import charges added to the transaction. I queried the charging of these fees and was told it was to make things smoother for buyers of products when they arrive in New Zealand. I told them there are no fees of any kind on items that are below the threshold of $400 and that to charge these non existent fee was fraudulent. The sellers don't do anything about it and have advised it is nothing to do with them and blamed Ebay. I just thought you should be aware of this scam. I used another seller instead. II would take the matter up with Ebay but ringing up the criminals to advise them are committing fraud might not produce any result.

1 pointPlanning a shoot with my car before the summer light gives up.. And the question that remains is the best backdrop for the job.. I fail in the general ability of knowing anything about Auckland, so those who are photographers/have taken photo's of their car or had photo's taken, could you possibly share your insight into possible locations around Auckland that would be recommended for a great car shoot. It's not going to be an iphone job, but a professional one so need the backdrop to really look the part Thanks in advance and apologies for the rather off-topic question.

1 pointRight out the end of Halsey Street Warf. Works both at night and during the day. City as a background. Plenty of space. https://www.google.co.nz/maps/place/Halsey+St+Wharf/@-36.840466,174.7602322,19z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x6d0d47f6497e405f:0x368e00c6655a36a9

1 pointI'm not sure I see the logic in diversifying the offerings so much. So now we have a 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, plus three variants of the X. And the Z. And the hybrids. Why not bring back the 8 and let that occupy the luxo-barge coupe space. That negative pressure duct below the tail light looks like a badly repaired cleft lip. Just sayin'

1 pointYou dont need 95% of the equipment and features in a modern 7 Series. Its all weight though. Tech is just getting so stupid now they have had to make an even bigger car to fit all that crap in, which means a bigger engine to pull it.

1 pointM7? Why.. ? I'd think BMW engineers' minds could go towards something more useful (or interesting). I don't see why you'd need more power from a luxury sedan when the 740i's are producing 450nm, the 760i's producing 750nm and then everything in between. It's not like we have Autobahns.
