2 pointsVery nice red 2002 driving north bound off the Harbor Bridge. I haven't seen it before. If it was anyone on here, very nice car ... sorry for the fright on sneaking up on you and waving in the e30... haha

2 pointsHad E46 M3, now in E92 M3. Love both. As wonderful as the E46 is, it's more of a "raw" car. The E92 is far more refined, comfortable, and much nicer to daily drive (I daily drove both). The fuel economy isn't much worse if that's a concern however if you're worried about petrol I'd go for the mighty Corolla. The sound of the E46 is quite nice, some people love the rasp. It was alright but you just can't top the V8 at 8300 RPM. Especially with some of the exhausts on the market (or modding OEM). The E92 has a much nicer, more modern, and spacious interior. The E46 is definitely the purists car (IMO) though. A lot of people have E92 M3s, even "non-car" people. Whereas the E46 M3 is typically bought because the owner "knows what it is". All statements above are opinions. Any specific questions feel free to ask

1 pointHey guys, Any of you see this advertised? I cannot tell if he just doesn't know, or we all don't know anything, or whether he is deluded or what? But even more curious...where the heck are these claims from? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/auction-863782514.htm What a hoot!

1 pointIf you KNOW it was a cowardly act you were obviously there. No doubt you even have video evidence of the cowardly act. I would hope like hell you haven't assumed anything. The first 3 letters of "assume" can be a description of people who assume. Top Gear is a bit about cars and a lot about taking the piss. Some folks miss the point.

1 pointOk, so I went from the E46 M3 to the E90 M3, i liked the look of the sedan over the coupe, also the sedan is a more rigid body. I do miss the rawness of the E46 M3, I loved the rasp. I now love the sound of the V8. The V8 does enjoy drinking fuel more than the E46 M3. With the age of the E46 getting on a bit, plastic components are getting tired, all the bushes will need to be replaced, shocks will need to be replaced, window rubbers will be getting hard. I did all of the above with my E46. If you can get a late '08 onwards you will have CIC iDrive (HDD based) and a lot quicker than the CCC system.

1 pointAs much as I love TG it needs a refresh. Last nights segment on Peugeot was pointless and boring. The hosts at times are tittering school boys entertaining only themselves making the show quite hit and miss. On that bomb shell for me Clarkson, goodnight...

1 pointIf budget was no factor I would go for the e92. It looks great and sounds great. I'd get the 6 speed stick. Haters will say it's a filler car and I'm sure a chipped or nodded 335 will kill it but I'd take it anyway

1 pointImo, for 25k you could import a Maserati Quattroporte from uk which is a lot cooler than the Audi. and btw, the 5.2 v10 only has 450hp not 530!
-
1 pointI hear that this is your reflection if you drive a black S8. Its a $8,700 option and needs replacing at 90,000km

1 pointIf I hit a fellow employee, I'd expect severe discipline at best, quite possibly sacking, and even some sort of tribunal and/or legal action taken against me. Assuming no criminal charges for assault weren't brought. I'm saddened to see the potential demise of the program, but quite frankly he got what he deserved.

1 pointIt will be missed. Very few shows I enjoy these days. The more car shows the better. 5th Gear is a bit dry most of the time. But I would still rather watch that before bed than anything on TV1/2/3/4/% The only replacement I would accept would be Chris Harris. Because he is just as much of an arrogant opinionated wanker as Clarkson. But they are suggesting Chris Evans. The twat from Radio 2. But he just won't fit in.

1 pointYou need a very high testosterone level to want to keep banging an old fat women that doesn't wear makeup though. Just saying. I am all for honesty. Do I look fat in this? Yes. She will either dump you, or eat a lot less that night saving a lot of money at the restaurant.

1 pointI actually brought up this question up at a large table on the weekend (wedding) Concluded that: a) Car should look reasonably nice, be reasonably new and have a nice interior. b ) Motorbikes make women get a funny feeling inside. c) Unless you are well into a relationship, like a year or so, (a) goes out the door and is irrelevant if you are a confident reasonably good looking dude that dresses well and is fun. d) Red wine at weddings will always lead to interesting conversations, flirting, sexual assault allegations and uncomfortable confusion the next morning.
-
1 pointActually, I'd say it's a good thing. Wife got me into motorbikes. She never once questioned the purchase of R model Ducatis and all the stuff you can by to make them go quicker. Getting her to agree to spend money on a car or TV / gadget on the other hand is just hard work.

1 pointWord. My mates gf tries to talk to me and him about cars (she knows FA) and spear fishing (knows even less),amd my mate hates it more than I do. It would be like me talking to her about make up and other boring crap. If she genuinely knew things about cars it would be cool I guess. One time I had an argument with my gf that she wasted too much time watching make up videos on line and that it would be a piece of piss to do, her rebuttal was that I spent too much time on the net reading car articles and watching poker strategy videos. So I did her makeup and she came and lost $100 at the next poker event. I think comparitively, I did way better than her. It's like, its nice and all that you're making an effort but sometimes you just need to go upstairs and make me a sang-which.
