4 pointsPulled this from a 80,000km Z3. Downing Atlanta SC good for 200+ HP. Should work well in a E30.
-
4 pointsPanel/Paint now underway. Love the attention to detail with the tweak to the back doors.

3 pointsI ranted on this already but I need another. Neighbors Willow trees have grown their roots right through the run off drain for the septic tank. Have to replace it all. 2 days slog and half finished. Going back to work tomorrow with what feels like a broken back.

2 pointsThey used the M43 motor as well If it is a N42 I'd be buying a large drip tray, extra oil and coolant with the scan tool

2 pointsA bit like a treasure map..... X only marks the spot to look, or dig deeper
-
2 pointsyou are all wrong anyway. everyone knows its directly related to how big the fuel tank it is. Costs $60 to fill, must be economical!

2 pointsI really like Rays project - it is cool because it is different and a classy stretch of the m3 story but I reckon the m3 dynasty would be diminished by a factory wagon variant. The four door sedan is a stretch.......I would have one but the m3 is at its peak as a two door on the track.

2 pointsThe hand job in the F10 530D behind me this morning, who threw his hands up in disgust when I let a car ( a cool E32 730i ) from a side street pull in in front of me. Pull your f**king head in.

2 pointsFabricators have now finished. Big thanks to the great workmanship of Colin @ Quest Fabrication. Next step will be with the panel/paint shop for shaping of the doors/petrol flap and painting. Nice to be able to fit the Work wheels and/or OEM 18`s/19`s

1 point0-100 km/h 4.5 sec 0-200 km/h 11.5 sec And the acceleration in 6th gear from 100-200 km/h is ridiculous.

1 pointWell I needed a few engines for myself and imported a few more for extras. A couple of them have been rebuilt with JE pistons etc, upgraded oil pumps, rebuilt vanos and are for sale. I have been looking for a good E46 M3 with a blown engine to put the 2006 engine in but haven't seen any come up at the right price. I can't go killing potential customers so you are quite safe. There has been more than the odd envious look when people see what is in the workshop.

1 pointI want Metric Time, would make excel spread-sheets way easier even that will throw a few "metrics" out like km/hr etc basically ruin society 30 mins plus 30 mins = 1 hour vs 50 mins + 50 mins = 100 minutes/1 metric hour
-
1 pointExcept the aviation engineering industry which still firmly uses imperial. I think in thousandths of an inch up to around 2mm, them flick over to mm up to around 100mm, then think in inches up to around two feet then flick over to metric from there. What really throws me is people using stones for weight. I have *no* concept of what a stone is, kg all the way. Yet I think of height in feet and inches. Sigh...

1 pointThe offset is cast on the wheel under the centre cap in the pic you posted above (same line as the row of text that states the wheel size). Can't see it clearly in the pic but they are the numbers at the end usually preceded by ET or E. PCD should be 5x120 assuming these fit a BMW.

1 pointInteresting concept My reckoning I have a Mini that owes me about $3k per meter A Ducati that is roughly 5 cents per meter A 328 that is .10 per meter and the M3 would be about $.15 per meter. Hopefully the wife doesn't read this otherwise two vehicles will have to go
-
1 pointHow about we do it in metres/dollar. That way we can exaggerate our fuel figures just by going to a cheaper station eg. Mobil in Levin
-
1 pointI've done the WOF on it since 2012. Haha but thats all good. Last time it failed was for 2 bald tyres. Its pretty nice I must admit. Will definitely do the cooling system asap. These things worry me haha

1 pointOverall running hour is recorded in the MSS54 together with a few more things.
-
1 pointi still wish OBD2 recorded engine "hours". I bet heaps of them low KM imports would have sky high hours on the engine.
-
1 pointadd on "special" channels. I pay for sky. Quite alot. All I seem to be able to find these days are re-runs or freaking reno or cooking shows. Yet there's a few new shows that are out... only on freakin soho or rialto. Channels that you have to pay more for. Then there's netfix, amazon will have the new Top Gear..... the list goes on... Sorry but i'm not going to pay a subscription for each show I want to watch. Nor for each sport I like. They can piss and moan about piracy all they like until they sort their sh*t out and decide on a standard service I'll download them all.

1 pointPeople that ask on your V12 listing "hows the fuel economy" serious the next guy i might just link to the prius section.
