    1) E36 6 cylinder M Sport Bars front and rear, I think the front is 25.5mm 2) Attached to the control arm 3) Front spindles are E36 M3 Evo It's no secret what I am using as the everything is pretty much OEM E36, kind of makes the whole thing quite comical when the cars I am racing around all have AP racing brakes, dry sumps, carbon airbox's, adjustable sway bars, modified motors etc etc, I think I was the only car there still running carpet

im quite surprised how well the et13 front and et25 rear offset just worked on the 3er. gonna change the tyres but other than that, the wheel fitment is pretty much spot on imo. flush enough without being too stance.

Not often the words "common sense" get mentioned in a post about James and racing!!But, seriously, it is a damn, damn good car and still has heaps of potential. Not going to trouble the $$$$ machines at the very pointy end, but that was not the objective. A reliable (hence stock parts) and low(ish) cost to run in the enduros was the aim.. Can't wait for the first round, will be grouse!!

Feckin' uselsss tossers who indicate right, move to the left side of the centre dividing line, then just before they turn right, swing left. Y'know, just as soon as you're passing their much slower vehicle on the inside...

keep on top of the maintenance, and take it on a long run regularly, would be a nicer holiday ride than a ford ranger, and it will appreciate the long run too

Yes first NZ owner - yea thats a risk you take I guess. This actually had all the books and servicing schedules in the glovebox which I have only just seen, bit hard to decifer in japanese though. Ended up buying autosure extreme mechanical insurance cover whoch covers most things in the car up to $10000, just have to have it serviced once a year at a workshop rather than DIY.Definetly a nice car to get considering the age of them now, the wagons look great I reckon. So glad I got the V8 too. Apparently its a good idea to replace the trans fluid and filter at this mileage onwards, which I will look at doing later this year. Edit. Just had a good look through the service books and I can figure out that it had been serviced roughly every year and 10,000kms so really happy that info was still with the car.

Not sure if it applies to E38 but on the E34/E32 there are different grades between the 6s the 8s and the 12s, most people on the forums used to use 750 spec stuff makes steering a bit heavier but last much longer in applications where they are driven a bit more enthusiastically than most people would. Something to look into any ways

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=1024604813 $1 reserving my 530i MS as I work in Oz 9 months of the year. I bought this a couple of months ago when I planned on living full time in NZ and it was the ideal open road commuter that I was using it for. Plans change. Awesome cars these, I've had VE Commodore and FG Falcon, With the exception of the 4.0 Falcon 6 engine, this beats them in every way despite its age.

So it's been an interesting couple of months bits and pieces going backwards and forwards. Little work has happened on the poor e30 lately but now it's time to start getting stuck in. After a nice engine and gearbox came up for a good price it was my original choice of power plant. So fresh into the new year I purchased a getrag 420g and m60b30. After hours and hours researching clutches finally speaking to Darren at nzad have nailed down a single mass flywheel and clutch he has produced. Considering sticking with the b30 and humming and not really being satisfied a few quick phones calls and I now have the big brother. A bit of wheeling and dealing and I'm back to square one. Time to get the welding gear out and make some progress. A pelican parts order and get the motor cleaned up and off to see Kerry for some knowledge and parts

Thrashed it. Took the 750i for a long drive to my sisters today. She's about 40mins out into the country on deserted roads with tons of hills and corners. I know this road like the back of my hand and as I haven't been comfortable driving the 750i as hard as I would the 740i I decided to find my limits in the car. All I can say is WOW. Turn on the S/EDC, put in Sport mode and gradually pushed myself and the car. The torque from the V12 just eats up the hills and surprisingly(to me) it cornered well too.Stinking hot day so super sticky tar might have helped a bit..lol The harder I pushed it the more planted it felt. Probably the fasted trip I've made out to my sisters. I'm going to have to do something to increase the volume/noise of the exhaust though. Would've been nice to hear the V12 roaring through the hills.
