Hi guys my name is Jacob and this is my E92 335i in Monaco Blue. I am abit late to creating an account on here so ive attatched a few photos of when i purchased the car last year in late July as a daily driver. Loving the 335i as a platform from other previous cars ive had like my old r32 gtr. The comfort, luxury and performance for the price is probably one of the best cars out there in my opinion. Over the almost year ive owned the car i have added a simple trunk spoiler lip, stage 1 tune, vertini wheels, H&R lowering springs and soon to have fitted a 1m style front bumper. Have plans this year to go FBO and stage 2+ along with potentially an m sport rear bumper and some side skirt extensions.

1997 e36 MSport Convertible NZ New rare Black hardtop black leather interior. Colour is techno violet, looks beaut in the sunshine! Overall really shows up well aside from minor scratches. Although bonnet paint is average, and rear bumper clear coat is peeling. ZF 5 speed auto sounds good with a M3 muffler. soft top in excellent condition. Window is pretty good. 154k , will get WOF before sale. This car is a lot of fun, thought this would be a keeper but have bought something else on my Wishlist. Car is based in Royal Oak, Auckland. $8500 ono 02102924907

You might want to hand back your petrolhead credentials preferring a turbo 4 to an NA inline 6...

Yep, plenty of BMW rentals around Avis have X5s, Aerodrive have a number of 3 and 4 series. And I'm sure there are other companies do them

Few little things done to kill time over lock-down. Replaced the sun-damaged outer door handles with some in better condition. These are an absolute cunofajob to install and i now wish i had just masked and painted the originals. I also fitted the shadow line door card strips as the chrome with shadowline outter window trims bugged me. Before : After: Had an issue with the central locking not working and the drivers door master switch not operating the other windows. After about 10 hours of dismantling and troubleshooting I found the p-bus wire in the passenger front door loom connector was shorting against the neighbouring wires. Wish I had checked it first! But was good to learn more about e39 elec troubleshooting.

For Sale: 1987 M535i Manual (WR7470) Made in West Germany, first registered in NZ. Diamond Schwarz Metallic Leather interior Full E28 M5 kit from Factory. VIN: WBADC720X00645881 More info on http://m535i.org. I have owned this car since June 2015. I have put 12000kms on it since then. Current odometer reads at 303xxx Kms. Initially, serviced with BM Workshop in Botany and then I started servicing it myself. These have become very rare especially in manual and NZ new. Fabulous car to drive with the M30B35 and the 5 speed manual box. The low end torque of the M30 makes it a very easy and smooth cruiser. I only drive it on sunny days and it's been stored in a garage during my ownership. Needless to say, it gets a lot of attention. The car has some tasteful mods done to it - the whole point was to keep it looking as OEM as possible to the general eye. Style 5 staggered wheels 17x8, 17x9. These cost me $3.5k landed in NZ in 2015. They are polished without any curbing on them. I also have the original wheels with TRX tyres - I will include these in the sale also. Tyres - RE003 225/45 and 245/40. Suspension - Bilstein B8 with AP springs. I also have the original M5 springs which will be included in the sale. And I have a set of H&R springs which will be included too. Brakes - Stainless braided lines. These improved the Brake feel by a big margin. Short shifter kit and lightened fly wheel (by the previous owner). Custom Exhaust with OEM muffler. Servicing - I have serviced her at relevant intervals. 2019 - Engine, Gearbox and Diff oil changed 2018 - Injectors got cleaned by Injector tech 2017 - BM workshop - Spark plugs, Engine oil, air filter, fuel filter 2015 - Engine oil change, Brake fluid and new dizzy cap I have records from the previous owner documenting the service history during his ownership. He had the Cylinder head and Gearbox synchro rebuilt. The bad bits and the starting with the most obvious. Rust - The previous owner was proactive in getting the rust sorted and I did my best. Unfortunately, the sunroof is showing some rust bubbles. I have a Glass sunroof from a Saab 9000 which hasn't been installed yet. This is included in the sale. More info on mye28.com Internal Fuel pump - I have a Fuel pump which replaces the internal pump and negates the use of an external fuel pump. The mod is well covered on mye28 forums. I will include this in the sale. I haven't gotten around to get this done yet. Power steering pump needs replacing. I am sure Brent/Zee has one lying around. Front passenger window switch needs replacing. AC Gas needs to be refilled. Small chip on the windscreen, 2cm across. Bonnet struts are starting to sag. I have become very busy due to work commitments and other distractions and haven't had time to get the bad bits sorted. In the last six months, I must have driven about 500kms. So, I would rather see her taken care of in someone else's hands than sit there and collect dust in mine. She loves to be driven. Price - I had an independent evaluation done in 2015 for insurance purposes and she was valued at $15,000. I am asking for $16,500. This includes all the original bits and a few extra stuff. I have a couple of keen buyers but they are based in Australia. Being a NZ new car, I would rather see her stay in NZ. Will advertise here for a couple of months first. My contact no. is 021 180 4565 - prefer SMS or wats app. Edit: I am negotiable on the price. Can sell the car without the wheels.

A vast majority of rental cars are on lease contracts. mitsubishi have taken back well over 2000 cars back from rental companies breaking leases, and I believe Toyota are doing the same. there are multiple rental companies who are selling bulk lots off through auctions. There was like 300 ex rentals up for auction in manheim last week. so, In short..... yes the car market is going to be flooded very shortly. I don’t think they will be “dirt cheap” but they are definitely going to be cheaper than the majority of the same cars on the current market we deal with several car yards down here in chch and they have all said they are expecting huge numbers of cars coming up forsale in the next months. And some have even been approached by Toyota and Mitsubishi to buy ex lease cars

Here's how you remind yourself you have enough power: Go out to some back roads, and try flooring it! You can hardly use all the power of stage 1+, where are you going to put stage 2+ to use? I think it's when I had my car in workshops or not driving for a while, reading forums and seeing the mods that were available, that would always tempt me to buy new upgrades. Generally I would add upgrades when it was already in getting some job done. Take it from someone who modded the sh*t out of a 335i... it's like drug, you just get carried away and forget to appreciate the car for what it is. I'm going to try to have some more self control on the next car....

E92s are fabulous to drive. Took mine for a drive to Piha and loved it. They have beautiful lines too, gets a few compliments. I am sure yours does too especially in blue and those wheels. Nice.

Yes, the rental fleets in NZ are now very much over stocked for the level of demand (unless you are Jucy...) but that won't necessarily result in a massive flood of dirt cheap cars hitting the market. The rental company will have worked out a price it needs for the sale of the cars when they are no longer required, whist they might let them go for slightly under that value due to corona, etc. they are not going to drop their pants and lose heaps on each one. they have other options to either keep them on for a longer period or other places they can sell them, i.e. the top level (new car) rental companies will pass them on to the second level (not quite so new) fleets, and so on.

nice car, love the monaco blue. I think that rear boot spoiler looks awesome. Also, I reckon keep the rear bumper, think they look fine and msport bumper is everywhere. 1M front bumper will be cool, something different. And very nice R32 GTR!! hard to see these days.

^^This. It's not as if the distance has suddenly jumped back 80,000kms and then stayed there. Looks very much to me like it's a mis-read of the odo or the form when it's been typed in, which is the most usual reason.

Nice. They're awesome cars "Have plans this year to go FBO and stage 2+" I've done this and wish I stopped at stage 1+. I'd recommend sticking with stage 1+ and enjoying it as a street car. Otherwise with the added maintenance, repairs, possible future WOF issues with going catless... you'll wish you just bought an E92 M3 or even an F82 M4 instead

could be bad handwriting from wof sheet/reading odo wrong or typo when entering it into the system. cross check and service papers you have with the dates showing on carjam to verify if its just human error.

Wheels! And last but not least the ongoing wheel saga. I ended up picking up some Style 194's which fitted perfectly but were a bit too stock looking for me so sold them. Realised without major fender manipulation my Style 66's (staggered) were never going to fit. So I swapped them for the 4th set of wheels to adorn the car....
