Hi, I'm about to pull the trigger an E61 M5 that has been through a couple of Bimmersport owners in the past. Currently sorting out the PPI. With any luck there are no significant issues and in 5 days I will be in Christchurch to take delivery. I'll post updated pics if I take delivery. Until then fingers crossed all goes smoothly. Wagon seems like decent value, but you would need to want all the extras. Wonder what needs finishing / interior. Could look good sitting on some Alpina wheels.

For some reason when people say in their listing that their car is “very tidy” this is what I imagine. I’ve learnt to be disappointed. This video does not disappoint. Although I wonder if they have a service where they completely strip the car apart and clean everything (not just the ones that are facing out).

Looking for some help with this car, currently I'm in negotiations with the trader and I'm looking for a recommendation on where to get an independent PPI done? Christchurch BMW is fully booked this week, are there any reputable independents that I can get the car checked over by? Any help here would be fantastic. Long story short, I have spent years wanting an E60 M5 and came pretty close about 6 months ago to buying a low milage fresh import. That didn't work out and this came up, I've watched the price drop over the months and they offered an attractive price for a trade. I'm not trying to hijack this thread, just thought that this was the most appropriate place to ask for help. Thanks.

My buddy owns this car and it should be selling for alot more than this. It is a lovely example in a striking colour. I remember when it arrived in NZ in the early days - a successful furniture designer in Auckland owned it before my friend bought it.

Cheers. Turns out my neighbours in Featherston who are building their house had their roof blow off on Sunday morning. Freak wind gust of over 170kph ripped it to bits. Roof landed right where my house would be if it was there. It then took off again and hit another neighbours house about 200m away. Fire crew said they have not had wind that strong there for a good 15 years.
