The 2nd one would be the pick of my choice mainly as the timing chain as been done
-
Don't think so, runflats and M car tyres are very good.
-
Check the other side as well, often they wear out in pairs, or at least won't be far away
-
Raxworthy European is the top place in town but are super busy. Otherwise Luke at Total Body Worx can do a mint job or a cheap job depending on your how much you want to spend. Expect around $300ish maybe less if you taken it off yourself

Can never have too many wheels, I've got 5 sets for 2 cars at the moment and that's me being good!
-
I've shipped wheels many a time over the years with Mainfreight and never had them damaged or go missing and I've never had them packaged. I did tape some cardboard to the face of some RSs once to protect them.

Sorry Hartge copies https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/193506540675 I'm sure he has a website too
-
Jump on E30 Owners New Zealand on Facebook. Someone has just posted about making some so could be an option. Otherwise Alpina copies from Australia are about $1200 landed

My favourite is the f30 m performance lights, customer got some for his f31, looked amazing
-
Doesn't really matter as long as it does the job. Both super reliable, only issues with them are users ones.
-
Because the runflat tyres have a stiffened sidewall, it's nigh impossible to tell if you have a puncture visually, hence the need for TPMS
-
They also rust up due to short trips causing them to stick and wear out, or lack of lubrication Can't really see the wear unless you pull out the shaft, worst one I've seen was it wore into the head
-
It's only a theory at the moment, if lean more to fixing your engine, there's not much else that could go wrong with them after this. Could end up doing all this to the new motor yet
-
No they are two separate procedures. If you replace a like for like battery, no need to code it, assuming it hasn't been mucked around with before
-
Yes it can do, they wear or rust up due to lack of servicing and too many short trips. New shaft with teflon rings, and recommend levers also replaced. Cost wise, not cheap, cams can be $1000ish and then some plus labour, levers gaskets etc
-
Seen entrenchment/wear on the eccentric shafts a number of times
-
Needs to be registered when replaced with a new one. Coded if you change specs

https://m.facebook.com/groups/546131948789959?view=permalink&id=2898711136865350 Apparently there's another one somewhere but I can't find it
-
He got a bit defensive on a Facebook thread about it too, was amusing
-
If it has a IBS then should be able to carry out an energy diagnosis
-
Cheap bumper repairs have long been a thing of the past, unless you catch the bottom or the side. Parking sensors, active cruise control radars, cameras all add up fast
-
^^ same as my e46 now I think about it. Only reason I found out as I looked up what the colour was via the sticker in the engine bay, and the car didn't match the sticker!
-
Yeah that's it. They have been sending out letters for the last year or so, but alot of imports get brought in without going anywhere near a dealer in Japan or NZ. Always good to check with your local dealer if there are any recalls when buying a car Nop
