Haven't seen the condition, but don't really get comments about this being over priced. Some people are all about the later MY, and the KMs are no higher than many others listed. Could be a good buy at mid $20s
-
How many kms per tank do you get in the e92? Seems counter-intuitive a giant truck gets such good millage, that's diesel I guess. Guess a baby will follow soon

Congrats!

It's not my method, search on here and you may find the thread. Essentially use melted LUX soap flakes and a cloth to clean the leather. It (temporarily) brings the leather back to that awesome matte finish. Fair enough with the tow bar, I feel you - maybe dip that black? Grills are cheap as chips though...
-
looks real good! I reckon that wheel is sweet. I wouldn't bother upgrading. You should refurb with the lux flakes method. I would remove the m badge, take off the tow bar and replace the grille with silver or gloss black.

I was seriously considering these wheels on a recent TM auction. I'm a fan. Is this a modified ride height?
-
There was another Jap auction grey one with the wrong mirrors and LHD, wonder what that sold for. Duh... they are visually superior. The rarity has clouded your judgement

I do 20-25km per year, not huge, but that is 100km in 4 years. Any premium I paid for 'low km' is melted away completely when you come to resell. I would rather have that money for maintenance. (Also have high KM cars in the past, I am not so scared of it. 350km e30, 250km e36, 140km e46, 110km 2010 S3)

Man remember the chaos on the early 2000s. Just wind up the boost with a valve controller, hit Quay St and see what happens.
-
Couldn't you buy the car back at auction considering you get the proceeds? (or shill bid it up for a good profit?)
-
There are ebay clones that I have tried on an e36 that worked OK. But YMMV. Worth a punt for $30 or what ever.
-
Not trying to sh*t on it, I haven't seen the car. Just pointing out the opportunity cost. M3AN - not a 3 pedal but I would say condition is top tier. I was meaning to come to the meet but was too dusty. I'll come to the next one and you can pass judgment. GLWS

I tried those wipers, one pair sucked and I binned them too. Tried again and this set is fine. Smooth, no noise, 10/10, would wipe again.
-
lol I paid less for an e46 m3 with 20,000 less kms!

Used between the MAF sensor housing to the throttle body. Allows for a dramatic increase in airflow over the stock intake tube. Smooth out the incoming air to the throttle body. Also can be used to upgrade the Stage 1 design to Stage 2. $100 shipped

Not sure about the others, but I would avoid those like the plague. As Josh says, there is a lot of difference with the same size tire between brands, (look at the 'stretch' a PSS has compared to other brands)

Have sent to wife.... awaiting approval. Update;
-
What one was that? Sounds pretty cheap. Assuming it was SMG, yellow and not 100% stock? $18k is a lot, but there are a lot of scared people out there that think an e90 or e46 non M car is a safer reliability bet and will pay more upfront.

THE BMW channel has some OK mini docos about different historic and current models
-
No shortage of people scooping up e90's and e82's for more. You could have this car and an additional ~$5k in your pocket just in case. And arguably no depreciation hit here. Your e90 is worth half in a few years.

Ohlins, nice.

Would like one of these! 2006 335i Motorsport Touring!

Cool car with the right upgrades. The diff is a big bonus. -
Yeah I'd never come across him, but his highlight reel was pretty good I thought.
