Murray at papakura engine specs. Taylor automotive but as it has been said, pricey. I worked for an engine reconditioning part supplier and they are the only two in Auckland that i would use.

Thank you huffer http://www.lvvta.org.nz/knowledge_base.html For those that don't want to follow link Does an auto to manual gearbox conversion require certification? Yes, all gearbox conversions require certification as the braking system has usually been affected with alteration or modification to the brake pedal-box. Sent from my HTC_0P6B using Tapatalk

As far as I am aware an auto to manual swap needs a cert. You are making a significant change to what the car you have came out of the factory with. You need to check the hobby car manual. But from my conversations with certifiers is it needs a cert. Just get the cert. It will be about 350 and save you many issues . If you went to sell it uncerted I would not buy it unless it was stupid cheap.

You could get it flocked.

Vht fabric spray from repco.

Are you getting a cert after the reinforcement ?

i might be able to help you out. I have two sets of arms that need new bearings so will be what you are after.
-

stainless steel brake hoses
Mr Vapour replied to sidewayswhat!'s topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
There are two different types of lines. I sold goodridge line and fittings and we had a standard disclaimer when ever we sold brake lines and fittings, and I had issues with lines on my street fighter 18months back . Had a good chat with my wof guy and nothing has changed. Basically if they are crimped and are built for purpose you are OK. These will normally have the inch of yellow shrink sleeve to show that they are of the correct build standard and construction . The other type are sometimes called universal kits, but they are where you have the line and the ends are separate and you fit the fittings to the line yourself, as some one has already said , like building an oil line. These are not legal for road use. The main thing they are looking for is the coloured and or screw fittings these fittings tend to be alloy where the crimp are chrome. It has nothing to do with mating up to the factory fittings, it has to do with the construction method used to build the lines. -
Are you talking at the battery or the connection block in the engine bay.

How much do you want to pay. Pm me.

Called Mike Shaw, he has put me on to someone else that had a mold, but it was lost when a.company went under, but he gave me the name of another guy. My search continues

Thank you sir. I shall give him a shout.

Yep correct. I have read soooooo many threads and how-to wikis, and they all use a different box, and I'm doing it in a e21 so it's the same but not quite
-
Yes but my concern is they are not as strong. Um planning on punting it around the track and down the strip so am concerned that the 220 won't hold up. But this is not my thread so sorry for the Jack. back to the touring. That's good to know I was just asking for clarification. I was thinking that I could use the e36 arms and it will bolt in but I must be misinformed.. Keep up the good work. Sent from my HTC_0P6B using Tapatalk

What mounts are you using for the gearb ox? Are you aware that they will need to be pretty poly as you have used poly for the motor. And are you sure ghat the mounts are the correct way. It reads like you swapped them for rhd reasons, but this should not have been an issue as I don't think the lhd cars would have had the motor in a different position. What's your clearance like with the sump? I got a getrag 220 for my swap as I was only goi g to run a m50b20, but now I'm thinking I should of got a 240 for the b28. Thanks for putting g up the pics and Info and the delays. Lots of learning going on .

Most key places can take your original key and clone it, they read the chip in the key then copy it in the new key. So they may be able to help you.
-
Yeah the freight on them is a killer. I'm hoping some one that raced one may have something tucked in a shed. And as I am just going to cut them up to fit the e21 importing them will be a very expensive option.

Hello gents I'm looking to get a set of 2002 turbo flares. I'm going to have to cut them up so I'm not fussed on condition. Idealy I am after a set I can borrow and make a mold from or a damaged set that I can repair. I have worked in the fiberglass industry so know how to do this. If I can make a mold, then make a part, then modify the new part to make the rear flares wider Thanks for reading

My mates had issues like this many years ago. We could not work it out, fitted several different modules and relays but no luck. I was about to buy it off him and replace the loom and modules as a whole. Is there any water damage under the rear seat from the sunroof ?? My mates was a blue 50th anniversary motorsport with color-coded acs wheels. Had a plaque on the the dash and special door kick plaques. Before the point but same issues.
