  1. Try murry, he is selling the convertible on trademe . He has a few his son has a good start to a project there. I think he said he had 6 last time I spoke to him
  2. There are specific e28 forums that he e much detail on what you need. There are also many different options available.
  3. ^^^^ this . Magna flow have a real good video on exhaust design on you tube. But they also have been around for many years in the American market
  4. They were on shelf on Sunday at Sylvia park warehouse
  5. You also need to get a twisted knot wire wheels. A cup and a flat. They eat paint, bog, rust .
  6. If got a 328 cross member and mounts if needed. I'm not sure if the 4cyl and 6 cyl frames are different
  7. Hello gents. So I'm the lucky owner of an e21. I have a m52b28 going In and am changing the box out, I'm also fitting a mid case lsd. No the e21 needs a mechanical speedo so that won't work. My tach is also buggered. So I need to fit in a speedo and tach. I'm being go use the obd2 and factory ecu Will swapping the clocks over be possible?? Physical is not an issue. My aim at this point to see if be e36 clocks will work and whY would be involved. I can swap Just the rev counter and speedo from an e28 I have seen it before If his was just the e 21 I would be all o we it . it but this obd2 is a bit out of my current knowledge base.
  8. It will be interesting to see how much you will be able to read. From what I have read the ecu has 256 external memory and Many of the readers are only able to access 16 of the 256. I will try and find the thread I read a couple of weeks ago about it.
  9. Keen to see how this goes as I have just received my automatic b28 and I'm pulling every thing off that is not needed. I'll be needing it all flashed out .
  10. So today some work got done . Picked up the m52b28. Moved the e21 out of the shed , not moved in 6 wwwks, started 1st time. New motor in the shed. Then pulled the carpet out of the drivers side and removed the floor coating to check the rust. It's not as bad as I thought,, but I found some that I need to investigate further. It's in the a pillar so I'm not happy about that.
  11. Just get a you shop account
  12. I have RE002 on my ba falcon and will be buying again (or RE003) when they are up for replacement. Great ride, lashings of grip and have worn very very well on the big coon. I had cheap Chinese crap on it and it went from scary to drive , don't bother if it's wet cause you will die, to a stable predictable safe controlled drive. There you go real world view of one of your choices.
  13. If any one finds an e21 please grab it for me. Looking for ages unsuccessfully
  14. Hmm strange. Everything I have read says the arms should fit. You're more than welcome to grab my subframe and compare it to yours. I also have two sets of late arms here if you want to plaY also
  15. Can you post photos of what you are wanting, I too have a set of tsw wheels that I am wanting to freshen up the centres . Have a look on mm e34 part out thread to see what mine look like .
  16. Hi I am selling the wheels off my e21. Should also fit an e30 The sizes are as per the title. They have bmw centre caps and look good with a bit of dish also. Performance is an Australian wheel maker. They don'tlook to bad and are in good conDition. main fault is where I used a rag with thinners to remove some marks on one wheel,. But it removed the clear coat Has nankang 205/40/17s on them. Two are sweet, one should be ok the other has camber wear. $600 gets the pupkin. <a href="http://s294.photobucket.com/user/g1brockzila/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0702.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/mm102/g1brockzila/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0702.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMAG0702.jpg"/></a> http://s294.photobucket.com/user/g1brockzila/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG0702.jpg.html
  17. Have you got the ndt paperwork for the welding ??
  18. A friend of mine has an almost identical car, owned it since it was 6 months old. Still has the headlight covers on it. She also has a 330 that never leaves the shed as she prefers the e30. Can you please let us know how much you get for it as my friend is interested to know what its worth.
  19. Mr Vapour

    s50b32 sump

Could you Whip it off and get it tig welded up??
  20. I was looking to do it to move away from the caRb in my 320/6 e21. This was by far the best information I found http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/index.php/Converting_to_Motronic_1.3
  21. It will be much easier in the long Run to convert from the mechanical injection to the motronic. If you already have the parts it's a simple swap . Get a intake off a m20b25 and you will be away.
  22. I got one for ya. Send me a pm.
  23. Thanks for that. Yeah I already have a e28 rear end with lsd. That's why I was asking for measurements off the rear cover. The e28 requires me to cut part of the floor out and don't want to do that.
  24. So I'm buying up the last bits I Need. Saddly I just sold my motorbike for not enough so am buying wisely. I'm after a gearbox and shifter for a m5x . Diff cover mid case e30 or 36 And the ever elusive e34 sump and pick up . I'm interested in a under hung pedal box but will most likely run out of cash so this will be last. Bushes for e28 trailing arms. All other bushes for e 21 E30 Rear seat in black Wheel flairs If any one can help let me know. Thanks.
  25. No they will not fit with out spacers. factory offset is 15ish. The e30 wheels will mostproberbly foul the outer tierod. don't quote me on this but they are not easy to get wheels for. Also if you are planning on upgrading the brakes in the future then the 14s will most likely be to small. If you use 323 on the front you will be ok but if you go Holden or Volvo calipers you will hit the .Aliper with the wheel. Best bet is to try them out and see.
