Oh man... Supercats. Had them on my Evo 4 RS, probably one of the worst tyres I've ever had but lots of fun sliding around roundabouts in the wet. In terms of my go to Tyre now, Michelin PS4. Pricey but worth every cent.

Yup was fully aware, although I clarified with them about carport and it was fine. Needed the cover for when I was actually driving the car on the road and I had zero issues when it came to making a claim.

I had my previous 135i with Classic cover, you get to specify the yearly mileage which can bring the premiums down. I had mine at 15 000km a year for less than $400 a year for full cover, as above they were always brilliant to deal with every time.

It works real well if you actually pull off the intake manifold and scrape the crap out using it and a rag lol. I've had good results spraying that stuff into a vacuum line on my older Hondas, not so much with my mk6 Gti. Direct injection motors just need it done properly imo.

? Hey we're not all guilty haha

New M4 CS? Would love to hear your thoughts on this ? kinda reminds me of the IS-F

The guys in the states/Europe have been getting some massive numbers out of tuning these 330e's. This thread relates to the G20 chassis but the gains are bloody impressive! https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1677345&highlight=330e+tune

Coilovers or not on E82 135i? School me!

If I had kept mine longer this was the next thing I would've invested in. Did a bit of research on it over the years and I came to the conclusion that the Bilstein B8/eibach springs combo was the most ideal. I don't believe the drop is too significant and the Eibachs seemed to have a smaller drop than the H&R's from memory. The factory E82 M-sport suspension just doesn't suit our roads at all. -
Yeah it was some sort of black chrome paint. Mine was still perfect when I sold the car. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-bmw-parts/black-chrome-exhaust-tip/18307559999/

Yep all 135i's came with the black tips unless the car had the m performance exhaust installed. Then it'll be stainless

Got the latest software update at the dealer today and was pleasently surprised with wireless android auto when I picked it up, stoked! BMW has been late to adopt it but better late than never.

PA Italy snow foam Lance. Think it's about $140, works great. I've heard the ones from detail depot are also pretty good and are about $80.

Oh if I'd bought it brand spanking new I'd be much more annoyed... It's a year old but its more the service I received than anything than annoys me. I specifically asked the dude if the particular issue was sorted, obviously didn't test it.

Dropped my car off to my local BMW dealer for a recall and also to fix an issue with my car connecting to the net... Spent 1.5 days without the car then got a message that it was ready. before I went down today I actually asked them if everything was working as it should and was told everything was 'perfect'. Picked it up this afternoon and of course it's still not working. Paid full bloody price for the car too lol... just shocking service. New cars eh...

Very tidy example! missing mine already

What was their justification to it not being covered under warranty?

Found this quite funny but annoying, picked up my new car from Coombes Johnston a couple weeks ago and was told the car would be in my name by the time I got home that day. Low and behold I received a certificate of registration in the mail yesterday for a 2010 Rav 4.

Glad I got to use mdecoder in time when purchasing my G20 a few weeks ago, got much more info about the options it had from there than the dealer!
-
I reckon paint it. Love the look of the diffuser + spoiler. Gives the rear end an aggressive stance
-
@M3AN wow had no idea. Don't think my 135i had it? I know back in the day cars in colder climates had manual shutters to help warm cars up quicker on cold mornings.Interesting!
-
Haha time will tell... done a bit of reading on these and it doesn't seem to be a common item of failure on them... Yet. Cool idea behind it though.
-
Yep they're active. open up when needed

Painted the kidneys black, saved myself $300 ?

@qubeI usually mount my spoilers with the thin double sided tape from Repco . Have used that stuff for years for spoilers and it's extremely strong. I've actually got a spare roll of tape that came with the spoiler for the new car if you want. Mounted my spoiler really flush and solid.
-
Yep, with pretty much every option. Same amount of torque as the 135i ?
