That one's been hanging around for a while... It's priced about 200% what the market will pay and is another LHD import from Japan that's likely not to have been that well serviced in it's 25 year life. Test drove a couple of recent LHD imports from Japan - both 850i - and they were dogs. One of them was crashed by the mug that bought at Bimmerfest in November. It didn't leave the factory like that!

Do your seats have the m stripes, Dave? If not, there is an NZ product which will restore them well for under $250. Used it on my old 540i and it took 6-8 hours max and did a great job. Urgently needed... Have got two bad Lucas injectors, the rest are good Bosch so want to swap the Lucas before engine goes back together next week. Lucas ones are the two odd ones out...

If it's enamel paint it'll be tough but if it's water-based then you should be able to pick it off carefully, then cut and polish out any scratches you make picking the house paint off.

Big thanks to Martin for organising injector cleaning at a very competitive price... They even videoed it for me to show that the Lucas injectors are shite, even after cleaning - uneven spray pattern. 2 of the Bosch ones were partially blocked but came right after cleaning. Gotta find two replacement Bosch FJ291 injectors now. Also got onto some other much-needed engine bay improvements. Painted the yellowing washer tank - used an adhesion promoter and some wrinkle black so hoping it will stick to the high density polyethelene - and the Engl strut bar. Happy with the results. Will be doing the valve covers myself with wrinkle black tonight and pick up the intake manifolds from the powdercoat next week.

Don't get it... For the same money as that red one you could import this, buy a supercharger kit and boost it to around 415bhp and have plenty of money left over to sort any bits and bobs that need doing. I know which I'd rather be driving!
