I think I recall reading about the e31 early dev cars having all the running gear and gadgetry fitted to the e24 body. In terms of the M5, the e12 M535i was the seed because it was the first 5 series sedan to be fitted out with a ‘large’ engine, motorsport orientated suspension and an LSD. Being a new concept at the time it was an obvious success. Sadly I cannot afford a real one ...

Bmw hasn’t just lost the plot, as mentioned it’s the stringent emission standards in Europe and other parts of the world.

2-3 nights a week. Been cooking Ketogenic dishes which has worked really well.

Let them fully dry and then lay some clear coat over them, light coats and then a final wet coat. Makes race car scale models look a bit more convincing.

Wasn't there an issue with early models in this generation breaking crankshafts? The cog for the timing gear shears off at the front end of the crank? -
