  1. Pretty sure the one for sale is Avus Blue rather than Le Mans blue? Both 2 very nice colours none the less!
  2. Would love to know more about the engine build.
  3. The front seats look to be lacking the extra shoulder padding the M3 seats have.
  4. Yes very arty farty pics but save the filter for the showroom rather than a trademe ad which should keep a car honest.
  5. You'd hope so with over 550hp.
  6. Elsewhere is Europe too. mobile.de has some nice examples for over 35k euro.
  7. Yeah i think the numbers are around that figure @DC3 knows.
  8. Nice car! The comfort seats are amazingly comfy compared to the standard M5 seats
  9. Awesome project! Looking forward to more progress. Wonder how much faffing is required to fit dohc heads??
  10. Maybe not. I watched a clip of Mr Koneigsegg explaining his new cylinder head revolution using valve actuators. Looked really interesting as there were some awesome advantages vs traditional timed camshaft operated valves. How much oil does the world really have left before we get to listen to muted performance cars?? Hopefully plenty. Considered an e60 M5?
  11. Agree. Great cars to drive (When everything works) but are the epitome of Break My Wallet for those with no mechanical insurance or who are not keen on diy.
  12. Give Ross lamb a call at BM workshop in Botany. He can give you some insight.
  13. You can buy portable stage smoke machines for about 40-60bux which do the trick as well when combined with some suitable piping.
  14. Good and bad depending what side of the fence you're on, lots of iconic cars now commanding money-no-object collector prices. Other Examples.. - Air-cooled Porsches - Honda NS-X - Subaru Imprezza 22b
  15. Could be a slight breach of the head gaskets, compression and leakage tests??
  16. Roadtrip to Tongariro at Sparrows fart for 8 hours of torture, aka the Alpine Crossing. Some great driving roads on the way. Managed to get 10.7 l/100km before i got bored and started hooning when i got past Otorohonga.
  17. No msport bits either which is what the majority want.
  18. Yeah although it was hard work dealing with people on Facebook marketplace it paid off.
  19. With the purchase of a house and other commitments unfortunately our 2kcup aspirations have taken a back seat. The good. New radiator, tstat, waterpump, battery and good used alternator and fan clutch. The front brake hoses were replaced and hi temp brake fluid put in. It's wof'd until June and rego expires July. 17" wheels with heaps of tread on the 235 tyres. It has the jatco jerk otherwise it's a good reliable daily runner. The bad. Paint is rough, interior door cards are missing cloth trim inserts and the sunroof doesn't work but not leaking. I am asking 1750 but will take 1500 firm for Bimmersporters.
  20. Hipsters these days and their dress sense.....
