  1. But ‘99 MY cars with pre-fl lights came with your same front bumper sans the front pdc.
  2. Fl : headlights and tail lights pre fl : front bumper (these were offered on pre fl m-tech spec’d cars) Also rear bumper, no change for fl/pre fl. The rear acs lip, spoiler and mirrors are acs specific. Does the front pdc actually work? If so that’s a fl feature afaik. Is it manual?
  3. The thread is actually about the i8 which is a hybrid vehicle.
  4. I think what we're trying to do in the nicest way possible.... is to go and preach your EV praise on the appropriate forum.
  5. Yes we've all watched the P100D take down a V8 super car or the latest AMG E class in a drag race. That's not the point. The point is with an ICE you have so much more character in the WAY it delivers the power and torque. And I don't think artificial engine sounds will ever compare to the true sound.
  6. Ummm not if you like the sound of an ICE and the character of its power delivery. Electric power is just one step further away from what an engaging drivers car is all about imo. They cater for the masses who see cars as a means of transport. The tree huggers are also kept happy. What a sad future.
  7. Wow very nice e34. Although that car in the stanceworks pic would handle like a wheel barrow. Looks like it's setup for a nascar race?
  8. Blew the cobwebs out from daily driver duties up on some Northland roads and caught up with @DC3
  9. I think the turners pics don't do it justice.... With better photography and some elbow grease it would look amazing. Because of what it is though, you could take pics with a toaster and it will still get the attention it commands from buyers.
  10. The interior i'm sure would look much better after a good cleaning on this example.
  11. Do every one a favour and stop an oil thread before it starts.... Get an owners manual and get an oil that's suited to the climate of where you live.
  12. I know an Andrew that had one about 11 years back. Same Andrew maybe? Was a white one. Great car, like an M3 with torque!
  13. Yeah, imo nothing beats the old fashioned way of washing a car, but using some methods to avoid swirls and other paint damage is important. I have a middle range Karcher and it's adequate for deck and house cleaning but I don't tend to use it on the car because it's only good for loosening mud or grass clippings and it's a bit of a hassle to get it all set up.
  14. Yup 5 weeks in. Still early days but there's always a reason in my head not to have one as 20 years is a pretty decent smoking career. To keep 'busy' i finally finished an old kitset model I had stored away.
  15. Had to get mine valued again for insurance today. Same value as it was 2 years ago and with 20,000kms less.
  16. I have an entry in my phone called "Cluster repair kev" who's in Chch. Did a great job on my old M5's cluster and was $150 back in 2015. I can provide the ph number via PM. @jeffbebe can also vouch for his work.
  17. Nope, still here but i'm barely a Millennial..... Born in '83
  18. I think if you were really particular you could order clear indicator lenses, unless it was restricted by law.
  19. It has got facelift lights, just that the indicators aren't clear like on msport versions.
  20. I didn't forget to take them to Kyu's. sold.
