Cheers Glenn. Due for a catchup!

Happy with the mk2 if i can get the unit to do 16:9 bypassing the video module. But yeah modernizes the interior.

Saw a lady on Queen st today getting used to the throttle of a brand-new rs7 Audi. Must have been in sport mode as i've never seen an auto bunny-hop before..

Ok... so got a lil bit carried away with the facelift theme and replaced the cumbersome 4:3 monitor This has got to be the most pointless option you can order for an e39. A boot fully trimmed in Alcantara. Gave it a good brush and vacum anyways.

FS: E39 M5 multi-function Steering Wheel & Airbag
BreakMyWindow replied to BreakMyWindow's topic in For Sale
Bump. -
It didn't. Decided to sink money in to it's appearance. next time though!
-
That engine though....
-
This will suit any E39 with build date 3/99 onwards as the air-bag is dual-stage. Comes complete with multi function controls for : - Telephone - Radio/CD controls - Cruise control Possible to mix and match this wheel with a pre 3/99 e39 or e39 that doesn't have cruise control and or Telephone. Maybe fits other models, you would need to do some research. The leather and stitching is in good condition. $280

Gave the M5 a belated xmas prezzie. Cheers to Ray (HellBM) and Dave (DC3) Before : After :
-
Awesome! Well done and keep up the great work.
-
Sorted, cheers Ray.

Am after a round type airbag off a late model e46 or e39, as per the pic below :

S62 headers are nothing flash.. same as the pre vanos m62.

A valve cover gasket job will run you 4 digits at an independent service shop. If they leak bad enough it can take out the alternator. Body and suspension wise they're pretty good but they're still quite new. Very nice cars though, was considering one as a replacement for the m5.
-
Cheers dude.

The original tyres have only recently been replaced. That would have been scary to drive in the wet!
-
There was a fair bit of controversy over some of the DINAN parts i.e their manifold upgrades for the m62tu just being m60 inlet manifolds with changed part numbers. I like there style though, they do a lot of research and testing and am pretty sure they are backed by BMWNA

That v8 looks right at home in between those strut towers.

How to Ruin a Bentley... M*A*S*H
-
Yeah not good mixing old tyres with new. Especially on a big heavy sedan renown for good handling.
-
How old is the tyre on the spare rim that was in the boot?
-
Does it still squeak with the car in park and handbrake off?
-
Ah. That will take a while then. Might be easier to get a cheap blu-ray player and hook it up to the tv.
