  1. If you're feeling lazy... If you have done just a straight copy of what's on the dvd to the flash drive, look In the root folder of the DVD folder (VIDEO_TS) you should see a bunch of .vob files. Based on the list of formats you posted for your TV Glenn you should be able to get away with just playing the .vob files. These files will be the parts of the movies.
  2. Agree. Such a nice colour LSB. But please don't wrap it in the Croatian flag colours :-P
  3. You mean the front quarter panels (guards) ? They don't come with grilles on the e39 M5. The e60 does however.
  4. Take it to Subtech in Penrose - Dave there is very good.
  5. Wwe tested the bulbs in my car and they worked. I removed the whole comsole unit from my car and it worked in Adeeb's car. Something to do with the contact points on his console light unit i guess... any ideas?
  6. Nice work on the engine bay make over!
  7. You must give him an appropriate name such as Zdenko, Zvonimir or Gojko.
  8. To get the height adjustment motor off u have to use just right amount of man handle. From memory u lift it up and to the side, then pull to separate the ball jointed arm. True that you will have shards of adjuster floating around in the lense area but u can shake it all out and vacuum them.
  9. I have an extra set of LED bulbs to replace the old incandescent bulbs in an e39 sedan interior and boot area. $60 pickup in AKL or $65 including postage. A very easy 30min DIY job.
  10. Is # 7 on the interior side of the firewall? If so you could engage the steering lock (take key out) and wiggle the wheel while checking the UJ for play. Else some one watching # 7 in the engine bay while you wiggle the steering wheel.
  11. Supercheap sells a really small ratchet and bit set. Thats what i used for my cps's and they're on the back of the cylinder heads.
  12. Saw it @ Clayton's this morning. It looks stunning and as new.
  13. Trip to the chiropractor after you're done installing those new bushes in to the column haha
  14. Well priced imo. High kms white example was up for sale last year for 24k I believe. Wouldn't mind having this parked next to the e39.
  15. Something you would expect from a great wall or cherry car. Someone in the e46 dev team buggered up.
  16. OP why not just do the oil and filter yourself? By far the cheapest way.
  17. You would think so. You could get the oil analyzed which will give you a good indication of it's condition and age.
  18. I would find a specialist in the area the car is located and have them inspect and scan it.
  19. Yep can do, will just need a long enough extension lead for the electrons, and some more fittings to be able to connect to various engine vacuum sources. A small amount of water is produced from all the smoke which seems to only collect in the first section of hose, so will look in to making a moisture trap.
  20. Made a home-made vac. leak tester using a smoke machine (cheers Jooles) and some coolant pipe. Was thinking it would need some compressed air to help get the smoke through the vacuum system, but it appears to work very well. No leaks found aside from what was mentioned in a previous post.
  21. To prove it's the stem seals get the engine in a high vacuum situation i.e down a hill in 2nd gear decelerating from 5k rpm for as long as possible. When you re apply throttle you should get a puff of smoke as the vacuum effect will suck oil past the stem seals if leaking. What grade oil is it running? From memory you had a lazy o2 sensor when i scanned it. Rich running over time may mean carbon buildup is effecting the 'seal' in the chambers.
