Man, thats gotta suck. Still, having one fabricated from metal has to be better than foam and glass. I really want to see this with paint on it.

I had a similar experiance about 8 years ago except I payed about $4000 for a panel and paint on a 280z Fairlady. I even supplied replacement panels(guards and doors)and had new Sills made that needed to be put on. When I got the car back it didn't look right. Wavey looking panels where it should have been straight. My Father and I started pulling it down. Not one panel had been replaced. Everything was loaded with bodyfiller including the Sills. Went back and the shop was closed for good. He'd done a runner with my good body panels and my money. The 280z is still sitting in the shed full of rust. I keep telling myself that I'll do it one day. I've even bought another opne for spare parts. One day I'll get a "round-tuit".

As far as I can tell it's just cosmetic, though it does have the M62TUB44 so at 163000kms its either had the timing guides done or it's going to need them soon. Unless they're already sitting in the oil pan.

If I didn't have a couple of projects on the go right now I'd be keen as well.

Were the owners of the 7/11 making the Bimmer owners feel welcome or was it a coincidence. Also as another coincidence there were 11 7's at the 7/11..

I suck. 8 out of 18. The worst one was choosing Commodore when it was a Ford. As a previous Holden owner thats emabarasing. I'm gonna say it's cause I was at work and was rushing it. ha ha

I used to love this sort of thing but haven't found a lot of time for it in the last couple of years. I was right into Australian V8 Supercars on Xbox with wheel and pedals. But that was years ago and I guess i's all progressed a bit from then..lol Amazing what a rush you'd get after squeezing 200th of a second out a lap of bathurst.

Honestly I wouldn't even call that a half arsed job. Thats terrible now matter which way you look at it. Hope you can get this resolved.
