So after quite some time my shed is nearing build completion. Auckland Covid delays mean they are months behind. Just ordering the 4 post hoist. And I may have scored a 2 poster very cheap too. Working out which floor coating/carpet I am going to order. Getting a run of ply made made. Security system is all installed. Ubiquity gear for the entire network and security (awesome stuff). Buy it using a US address and payment method to save hundreds over PB Tech if possible. I think I ended up saving $700USD all up... Then after nearly 7 years I can pull out the E34 from it's container and bring it to it's new home. Ready for a full tear down and rebuild (it had race fuel left in it ). Now off to spend way too much time figuring out the best floor coating.

It spent 32 years of its life in the UK and there is no WOF equivalent in Florida. It would be a huge gamble.

That looks like it has sat outside for a very very long time. The back seats are all saggy.

I'm on board with Toyota and the reasoning they gave for not signing the Glasgow agreement. https://www.autoblog.com/2021/11/11/toyota-zero-emissions-climate-pledge/ The same goes in NZ. Our infrastructure is terrible for EV's. My town only has one charging station. And during the winter months Solar is not a viable option to power both a house and a car on it's own. Hoping the Hydrogen tech keeps the ICE alive. Even running around in a Tesla Model S on the East Coast of the USA was still a little bit of a hassle. Whilst it did all the work telling me where to stop and for how long on a road trip. It still meant extended stops in the middle of nowhere for up to 45mins. A model S is affordable in the US. It isn't here. And our lease options are not even worth looking at. I feel NZ IS one of the countries Toyota is talking about.

Someone has BMW130 on a 135.
-
It's just another dealer trying to tell you it's worth this much.
-
Worst things ever when wearing a helmet. Especially BMW ones as the cartridge is quite large.
-
Would take the private one over the dealer one and save yourself $5500. You could even buy another one with your savings. No sunroof on the private one either. I hate sunroofs.

Yup FedEx in Auckland is stuffed. Lots of work things stuck there for weeks. 2 days from the US. 3 weeks sitting in Auckland....

The state of semiautomated accounts for services. Signing up to new services for my new house. Power company. Stuffed up and has created two separate accounts. One for Gas. One for Power. Can't log into either as both don't exist. But the bills arrived... Internet company. Created account. Went to add services and found that the account number and phone number they just emailed me don't match... They are in the same email of which was sent to me via a request from their sign in system..

Little loss of traction on the loose chip usually gets them to back off.

Well it's time to dump stones on the road again. And guess what. I lost another windscreen. It's becoming a joke. Zero effort and money being put into repairs.
-
What I would do instead of sucking it up. Contact the 2nd bidder and take a small loss if they are interested. Thing is already a money pit before you have even driven it.

Can of goop and an AA membership.

Seems all dependant on the shipping price at the moment. Been trying to get some suspension in from Aussie for my Rocky. All of a sudden they wont send shocks via air freight.

Everyone having fun bidding. SMAT : HURRR

Ah it probably looks much worse than in that photo at the moment. Poor thing is green and brown. She's a real commuter. About to order new brakes. Rotors and pads. Probably from ECS or FCP. Might grab the waterpump at the same time.

I think I am done with Trademe.

I like the 255/35s on the back. Cars gravel driveway with sheep sh*t dirty sorry.
-
Nice. I fit 255/35 an 225/40 on my 269s. Tried 235/40 on the front but they looked weird.
-
Low mileage. Because they were so sh*t nobody wanted to drive it.

I was thinking about creating a Bimmersport award for Masochist of the year.

What about the BMW powered Daihatsu Rocky's? Named a Bertone Freeclimber and FreeClimber 2. https://www.drivingline.com/articles/bertone-freeclimber-was-bmws-first-suv-by-way-of-japan/ https://www.motor1.com/news/228017/bertone-freeclimber-for-sale/ Rarer. And no doubt just as rusty. Maybe I should just throw one of my BMW motors in my Rocky. Would be on the only one in NZ. AKA Daihatsu Rugger Daihatsu Rocky Daihatsu Fourtrak Daihatsu Taft Toyota Blizzard Bertone Freeclimber 2 And that's just the bigger one.

Wait. You're choosing the E30 over this? This E46 is unique and beautiful.
