Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Driftit replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
The M-techs and tastefully modded ones I understand. The boring Povo-Spec runnarounds will only be worth their body panel parts to me. -
Enjoy. Great car for the money.

BMW specific is best. As the codes are usually not just read as generic. I have both.

Trademe. What a steaming turd it's become. It was bad when I left NZ a few years back. And now that I am back it is so much worse. It is just littered with overseas sellers peddling their utter trash products. We have no way of rating the products. Just the seller. Of which nobody bothers to do. If you are going to allow all this sh*t on the site they need to change to a Amazon style rating system. We need product reviews and ratings. 5000+ 5 star seller ratings doesn't help me see if the product I am buying from them is junk.

Oh wow. I'm glad you didn't post pictures from the Auction. Because I don't want the forum to archive them.

EVO 8 Brembos could be a cheap alternative. I honestly can't remember what the mounting bracket looks like though.
-
I think mine are from a 750i. Will see if I can find some pictures. Edit: Nope sorry mine are Brembo 4 pots from an EVO 8, to be married up to E38 750i Brembo rotors.

Post was probably by Milan when he built my E34 racecar. It has the big Brembos. They are a good upgrade. Pad choice is great too.
-
Yip that is an amazing price. CIC system too.

Oh yeah that's my old car. Sold it when I moved to the US. Was a good car. Have fun. I would restore rather than mod. Let me know if you want info.

Honestly. Avoid giving them advice. You will be the first person they will come crying to when their "Reliable" (insert cheap neglected Jap import here) shits itself. I only help family now. And I don't even want to do that.

I was looking at it. But I just don't have the space for it. Looks great in the photos.

where can get X1 F48 OEM Brushed Aluminum Trim
Driftit replied to kadenkenny's topic in General Discussion
One of the US crowds would be your best option. If you can get the part number it makes it easy to search for it. Though some of the sites will help you figure this out. Try Pelican Parts of FCPEuro. If they don't have it listed ask them. They can source any BMW part. -
Some sort of boring Mazda 3 would be my choice. But who knows. All that "reliable" stuff has been well neglected. It's just luck these days.

Nice. If this was Washington you would have a couple of F16's aggressively helping you to the nearest airfield.

I have been away for 3.5 years and have two cars stored in vented containers in Masterton. They have had no issues with mold etc. Was a great cheap way to store them. Make sure when your car is started that they warm it right up to operating temp. Not just a quick flick to see if it turns over.

Shame I didn't see this a while ago. Moved to the US and could have sold you or lent you my manifold I had made in Sweden. It's a proven one they use on there 900hp M30 E34. It doesn't have the wastegate on it as they left that up to me to place it once I figure out how much space I need. Nice work though. Sometimes its about the effort rather than just buying one like I did.

Haha send it down to me. I will send it back when I sort it out.

Looks pretty nice. Lots and lots of photos at the end of the article. Motor1.com: 2020 BMW 3 Series Touring Debuts Its Long Roof Lines For Euro Buyers. https://www.motor1.com/news/354251/2020-bmw-3-series-touring/amp/

Looking to borrow a D-CAN or modified VAG-COM USB cable for use with NCS Expert. I need to do some programming and mine are buried in my storage containers somewhere. It's been 4 years and I have no idea where they are. In Masterton. Wellington is fine. I will be there often.

Spotted a Red E30 325i Vert heading south from Taupo yesterday. Passed me just after Waiuru. Tidy. Number plate 3251 something.

Check the standards of which are required by the track you are going to. Some don't allow motorbike helmets anymore.
-
I'm ITish. Mrs is Government. I was looking at the ports expansion. But there are a few offers in Wellington at the moment.
-
Our issue is jobs. I have been looking as my family moved there a few years back. Nothing for my partner. And to be honest she is the bigger earner.

Surprisingly the Weather in Wellington was great. But Wellington always tries to BS me into living there. May still happen. My 11am flight yesterday didn't take off until 12:18. There didn't seem to be any urgency or issues. I just think that it was not actually scheduled to leave until 12ish. But they told us 11 to fill it up.
