Wait wait wait. Someone bid $17,750 for that car! Hahahahahaha. Am I laughing that it is not worth anywhere near that? Or is it laughter to cover my pain of selling my car for far less than that?

The post is a year and a half old bud. Prob are a little late.

Doug DeMuro on M Cars getting rarer and more expensive
Driftit replied to Gabe79's topic in General Discussion
Just say when Logan. I can seriously find you a conversion. -
Got put to work in Scott Dixon's garage on Sunday at Watkins Glenn. Was picked out as a kiwi and they know we don't refuse. Parked next to this clown shoe. I used to love these. But for some reason I have fallen out of love with them. Maybe it's just not dating well?

Manual E60 over all the other M5's for me. -
Haha the car is everything I would want bar the interior. I don't mind it too much. But Samantha hates it. A good 8 out of 10 cars or thereabouts has a beige interior here. Was so hard to find something that didn't. Let me know if you want any ZHP parts for her Bruce.

Wichita Falls? It is probably best you ask on a US BMW forum such as bimmerforums.com This is a New Zealand BMW forum. Our vehicles are specifically programmed for English. It could be the Navigation disc you have. German Nav Disc.

Ah yes WA is a little further away from me. My old HR lady got excited when i told her I was moving to Washington. They had work for me. Everyone got excited until I mentioned it as DC.
-
Where abouts in the US? Not Houston I hope. Don't mind holding something for you.

I've heard Winston Peters is waiting at the end to high five you.

Ah nice. I will also add that to my list. Stuka Pilot is another good one. Is all about Hans Ulrich Rudel. Dude was shot down 24 times. Destroyed over 500 tanks. I have also seen a few Blackbirds now. The two best ones are here in DC and the Pima Air Museum in Arizona. Pima one you can touch whilst being yelled at by someone telling you not to touch it. There is the A12 on the flight deck of the Intrepid in NYC too (the weather has murdered this aircraft). The others are all in perfect condition. I have two more Shuttles to strike off my list too. Endeavour and Atlantis. These are a sight to behold. So much bigger than you think. Edit: I should say. Stuka Pilot gets a little Germlish (German + English) in places but reads really well. https://books.google.com/books?id=xZiDCAAAQBAJ&pg=PA83&source=gbs_selected_pages&cad=3#v=onepage&q&f=false

@EURO V12 I'm in the North West. I pretty much live over the road from the National Cathedral which you can see no matter where you are in DC. The only area you don't visit as a white man now is the South East. Anacostia and surroundings. The navy Yard area was once bad but is now full of brand new apartments and of course the Nationals Stadium. Most areas are transforming and the bad areas are being pushed out. There are four separate police forces between work and home. Which is 7 mins away. If the Mrs wasn't so home sick for her family I would be happy to stay here. But I also have a 5 year limit on my visa (new rules to stop a number of countries abusing the system (Most African and Arabic countries)). E.g. The Embassy Gardner for a small African nation was recently caught driving for Uber and had been for years. Turns out he is the brother of the ambassador and the embassy doesn't have a garden... It is rife with these abuses here. If anyone is ever in DC drop me a message. Will get you out to a Saturday morning cars and covfefe that will blow your mind. BTW DC is worth visiting as much as NYC is when coming to the East Coast. The Smithsonian's alone are worth it. Who doesn't like Space Shuttles and Blackbirds..

Oh yeah Trademe is a joke now. Flooded with junk from overseas sellers. Like Ebay you soon will not be able to trust anything on it.

Traffic was bad but never really bothered me all that much. I moved from Auckland to Washington DC. One of Americas most expensive cities. I find it cheap here... My living costs are a fraction of what they use to be. Auckland is crazy expensive.

Seen them on an E60 at a cars and coffee event. I will be honest. They looked tacky. The guy had all sorts of other crazy light mods going on too though. Many replacement headlights are not legal in NZ. But older styles that have a left and right hand drive difference.
-
So i shouldn't say moving out of Auckland was the best thing I could have done? Haha. There is so much to do an see there. Make the most of the coast.

I'm kinda with you there. I hate the E46 cup holders. Way to make the center console the ugliest outside of American cars.

E61 Touring 545 almost complete vehicle $2500 (Damaged)
Driftit replied to LemonHunter's topic in TradeMe discussions
Ah I see. Still they must have only tried locally to find replacement ECU's. -
BMW's with Beige, Cream, White Interiors. You have no idea how many E46's I struck off my list when I was looking for one over the last few weeks. Great car, great specs, great mileage, great price, F'n BEIGE interior! It dates the car badly IMO.
-
It has the E46 ZHP wheels. They came factory on all the late model ZHP E46's here in the states. AKA Style 135M. I like them. There are some on a car being parted out here. Was thinking of grabbing them for my E46. Oh I just noticed the rank interior on this car. Yuck.

Smashed bonnet. Interesting. Guy said no Accident damage. I could have got the ECU's for a few hundred bucks here. Must be another reason they wrote it off. -
My only issue with South Auckland is the Southern Motorway. Unless you work out South you are going to spend much of your day travelling to and from your job. And it is so hard to predict how much time each trip will take.
-
No I dealt with it. Deleted his post.

Trust me the place has not changed in at all. Haha. Though there is much more security now that Pence lives over the street. I don't mind watching Marine Two landing multiple times a day. I really can't wait to get out onto some of these roads. Whilst Skyline Drive is pretty slow going these days it is still an amazing road.

I will have to look into them again. I did have a conflict with them a few years back. Purchased some wipers for a NZ E55 AMG. They stated Universal. They were not. LHD only. But they would not take them back at their cost. But I am not worried about that sort of mistake here in the US.
