The M52 headers are the used on the US M3 S52B32, so they must be good for something. That said, buy my M3 headers now that you have some flanges to weld them to.

Lol same thing happened to me, Sold my e30 then a year and a half later had to get back into one, saying to myself it'll stay how it is. Just doesn't happen... But looks good man, big fan of Delphin grey on Coupes. Just black out that chrome window trim

Very tidy, I have one almost exactly the same but Sterling Silver with IS Lip. They are worth quite abit since they are very well optioned.

Where that center piece folds down in the middle of the rear seat, there is typically a "ski bag" and in boot side is a cover for it.

When I was researching this a couple months back for when I did my rear end I went with Powerflex, they seemed to be more popular for quality / feel. There was a good thread comparing the top few brands that offer e30 kits and Powerflex was the favourite, of course I can't find it though.. Looks like 75d is the hardest too haha. Powerflexx purple are 80a. http://www.akgmotorsport.com/materials.php

Oh I wouldn't bother, I've done M50 and M52 and both times e36 loom, installed exactly how the m20 loom is up along firewall, in through the same hole and ECU under the steering.
-
Huh? You don't need to cut anything. And no, M52 is siemens, m50nv was still Bosch. All the connectors etc are different.
-
All it takes is removing the black box the wiring is held in on the E36 loom, then it easily reaches the stock ECU mounting location. You can tuck it into the M40 loom covers too with abit of work.

Sell me your wheels and put it towards the turbo build
-
I thought of an alternative, an M40 hose will work, if it's long enough will buy a new one since much cheaper. if not I'll PM you.
-
Hmm looks similar but you just gave me a good idea.
-
Does anyone have one of the M20 3 way hoses to the expansion tank? I need one that will be cut to use from the Expansion tank then close to the engine. I don't really want to buy a new one to butcher, I have a used one but it looks like it's 30 years old, shrivelled up and dry. Looking for something pretty decent or close to new.

Lots more done over the last week, It's now drive-line wise completed. Wiring is all here, got the missing trans/o2 loom from an SMG M3 car and it's giant.. I plugged it all in for a test fire since I was at that point, initially would only get it to crank without fuel or spark, though the pump was priming each time. Dug around and found I missed a huge connector between 2 looms and another at the same plug for the coil loom. Pretty confusing because there is so many damn looms (4) and with the SMG one there is a big bunch of stuff obviously can't plug in. So now it's all running finally, stoked. I first panicked the DME wasn't right or the adapter loom was wrong or something, luckily my own amateur mistake. Since it goes I could finally find somewhere to put this giant mess of wiring.. Engine side it's pretty tidy, There's almost nothing that goes across to the driver side. But I now possibly sacrifice having a glovebox, a compromise I don't mind living with. Can't wait to take it for a spin, hopefully in a few more weeks

How sure are you it's the stem seals? M20s vent the crank directly to the intake, sometimes it's just oily in the intake manifold and can leak down the intake boot too. Then you burn it all as you drive.

I read about that but I had gone the weekend before that and didn't plan on going again. Andy lives closer..
-
Lol i tipped off Andy and he honed in like a vulture

Just 12point metric normally? Pictures?
-
I remember this, haven't seen it in a few years. That is some nasty rust though, bet it's throughout
-
Nice wheels, Are they 3 Piece? Going for bigger lips?
-
Looking for an oil cooler with lines from an M3. Or an oil cooler adapter to -10an fittings.
-
How did you end up with needing the U.S stuff? Couldn't Kassel do Euro software / Euro wiring on the adapter loom and use a regular relay?
-
Yeah I went and had a look at this, There's a heck of a lot of rust on it, You haven't seen the start of it if you only just noticed this! Why else did ya think no one local bought it
