  1. Anybody know how much it went for in the end, and where it's going to end up... Ray? Brent??
  2. Spending quality time with my boy over his birthday week-end.
  3. Nope, that is the flap in the lowest position, so this would be the Pukekohe setting. Depending on where you drill your holes will determine how high the flap goes when it is in the raised, or Taupo setting. Don't think we will get quite this much though #gotflap
  4. Some serious things to be done before the next race season, but as expected I am too busy mucking about with silly stuff that won't make me go any faster, but that I think looks pretty cool... Spoiler alert!!
  5. Sounds good, glad you're enjoying it! Pics would be good to see..
  6. Just seen the S50B32 with the Shricks on TradeMe and I think that is a different engine, and the one I was thinking of is not listed any more. I will ask around see if I can find out if it's still available.
  7. bugger, sorry to hear that. Mike Starnes did have some E36 M3 parts for sale in the Race Series - Technical section, not sure what he has left now. Arron Harris' old race engine was for sale on TradeMe (not by Arron though) a little while back, but was quite a few $$$s Or try Geoff, FIAT131R on here, he has a few engines tucked away in his shed in Wellytown.
  8. The silver rings are sealing washers not shims (I think), go under things like the temp sensors to stop them leaking. If you haven't stripped the head right down then they probably don't need to be replaced. Not important bits anyways...
  9. Yup there are cooling and massaging seats, if you really want to spend up large you can get a 1st Class Airline type seat in a 7 Series that turns into a fold flat bed type thing and does everything. The trouble with leather is that it does get cold in the winter and hot in the summer (especially parked in the sun with it coming in the window) so the heater just takes the chill off it, also comes in handy when your back is playing up and needs a bit of heat. The cooler stops you getting a sweaty back in the summer - even when you have the air con on full blast, you do still get a sweaty bit. I am a bit worried about how many people on BS know what it feels like to piss themselves though....
  10. The actual radiator part of the cooler can probably be made to fit, the gap where the cooler sits is pretty big on the E30 so there is room to move there. It is the lines that are more of an issue, depending on what engine you are trying to fit it up to the connections can be on different sides of the engine (M20 LHS, S14 RHS) and the gap to get them through is pretty tight. The good news though is that the pipes are interchangeable on the cooler. If it is your 323i you are trying to fit it into I do have a couple of lines off a 325i that could well work...
  11. Needs photos please as per forum rules, thanks.
  12. The wheels are just some 18" CSL reps I got put on the car in the UK before I brought it out here. Even with my discount I can't justify "proper" CSL wheels, especially on a wagon.
  13. Post needs a price as per forum rules please Brent
  14. That means bugger, as I need the 3-pin version!! Thanks for checking.
  15. Post needs a price as per forum rules please. Also the width and offset will help prospective buyers.
  16. Simple really, it is what it is...
  17. Yeah, the missus works in the office for Axial.
  18. I've got some nut crackers so we can eat the nuts afterwards.. Or should that be first??
  19. That's my car ( mrs pom) I spent all sat cleaning them.
  20. I might be able to get you one to use.. have you got access to a blaster and the walnut shells??
  21. Wow, lucky lady to get there in one piece that would have ended horribly. Things like that are the reason I think the longer period between warrants is a bad idea.
  22. Are your headlights correctly adjusted Ash? I know it is particularly bad in SUVs as they are higher up and shine more into the mirrors of a smaller car in front. Full adaptive LEDs are the answer - put them on auto and forget about them, just watch the light show! They work really well when the dick-head in front has no lights on his trailer and only one rear light on his shitter of a tradie van.. although they didn't appreciate it as much as I did!
  23. What model is the O2 sensor off? Is it a 2-pin or 3-pin connector??
  24. Pros: Reasonable mileage, good condition, service history, NZ new, 330i Cons: Not a popular colour combo, beige leather and wood... Non-m-sport, awful wheels, tape deck, no bluetooth $5k may be a little harsh, but certainly nowhere near a $10.5k car - anyone that puts "tyres nitrogen filled" on their car advert has some odd ideas about motoring. I would put it in the $6k range, he is into 6-cylinder E90 money at his asking. Keep an eye on the $1 reserve silver M-sport 330i auction, currnetly at just over $4k (sorry silly browser won't let me copy a link at the moment) to see where that ends up. Since you asked... FWIW, my wife's car is an '04 330d M-Sport touring manual brought it in many moons ago and the purchase price wasn't much above his asking way back then - but it was from the Uk.
