Seats from the E30 M3 Sport Evo (Evo 3 for short) were the Recaro SRD with the coverings specific to the Evo 3 interior. SRDs also were fitted to other performance cars and were available through the aftermarket. Some of these have found their way into M3s. Genuine Evo 3 seats with the correct coverings are worth a little more (sorry can't tell from photos if these are, the fact they were recovered would suggest not) but either way these are awesome seats that look period correct and fit great. Wish I had an E30 worthy of them...

Pictures are necessary on for sale threads, as per forum rules. -
How much are you looking to spend? I have an M20 flywheel and clutch, but was thinking of selling as kit with the box, etc. But might split for the right price.

Any details on the other black E30 M3 at the end of the clip?

E30 RX7 calipers wheel fitment

I ended up with the same as you, 10mm spacers and a bit shaved off the bump on the caliper. Only just cleared as well.. -
Aw shucks, you didn't have to get me anything!!

In terms of.. Grip? Harshness? Noise? Lots of factors involved.I am running Potenza S001 with a 40 profile on the front and a 35 profile on the rear, and whilst I would agree they can be a bit noisy on the coarse chip I don't have an issue with how harsh they are. But then, I do like a firm ride. In terms of grip I have not found an issue and without trying to sound like Lewis Hamilton I would say they have been pushed harder than 80% of the tyres on road cars. Not sure if that helps Kyu, but they are Bridgestones, not sure where they sit in the range compared to the RE050s.

The tyre, and the sidewall in particular, is a part of the overall suspension system. If the shocks / springs / geometry are not designed for RFTs then it's not going to work well. I would only suggest putting the tyres on if everything else is set up to work with them.

2007 E92 335i Coupe. Gun Metal Gray. Low Kms

You only posted it up on here a week ago! Bimmersport and NZ in General is not exactly overflowing with people ready to drop that amount if coin on a used car just before Christmas and the holidays. If you want to get your asking price be patient, if you need it gone quick advertise it better and think about price. -
^^ What they said. Harness and proper seat for the passengers would be a good idea too, stop you banging your head against the windows - front and side!

Dickheads that use daytime running lamps instead of headlights at night. First, they are too bloody bright knob-end they are meant to be bright in the day, think how bright that makes them at night to other cars! Second, you have no lights on at the back of your car (or usually soft-roader!!), which makes you very hard to spot as you womble along.

Saw this at Hampton Downs yesterday, never seen it before. Well kitted out 135i, with an add-on 1M kit for the bigger arches. Half cage inside, with terra-trip and intercom gear, etc. so possibly set up as a Targa car? Looked bloody awesome in the sun!
-
Those KMs wouldn't worry me if it had a half decent service history with it. Pretty sure I can't talk the Mrs into another manual, but the flappy paddles of the 135i might well appeal to her.
-
Shame it's a 6-speed, I'm looking for one of these for the Mrs, but she wants an auto. Having seen that very nice yellow 135i coupe with the 1M kit on it though, I might try and find one of those instead!

^^Lol! That particular disease does seem to have spread from the UK to NZ!

Wolff = German Mercedes = German (overall company not F1 team) Rosberg = German Hamilton = British Spot the odd one out? If you don't believe me, check out the poster at M-B HQ in Mt Wellington, it hasn't got the champion on it.

All NZ new cars get the 40:20:40 split folding rear seats which include the 3 diagonal belts. Review must have been lower US spec.Big difference between "standard" and "stock", it pays to stock the models and options which are sold the most. Very few "factory standard" cars would sell in NZ. Steel rims and cloth seats anyone?

In the spirit of fairness and consistency I have also re-read my own previous posts and removed a comment which was not appropriate.

You made a statement which I pointed out was wrong, and the reason why it was wrong. Not inaccurate and not inflammatory. I did not refer to you or your opinion in any way that was abusive or derogatory, which is what you then did.In no way am I denying you the right of reply, I just ask you to refrain from the personal abuse, which you have again included so I will delete it out. Please accept this and move on, we all have much better things to be doing with our lives.

Still watch F1, because it is still F1, but yeah it has been pretty boring this season. Even the front two Mercedes didn't really race each other on the track. A couple of good races in there, but the rest were too predictable. Only interesting bit was guessing how long before the first Honda engine went pop.
-
Ron - I have deleted your last post. I am all for healthy debate and discussion, it's the point of having a forum, but when you start being abusive then you have crossed the line and breached the forum rules. Yes, by all means state your opinion, you are entitled to it, if you disagree with others fine, but no need to be abusive.
-
Ron, again you are dodging the point. You made a derogatory statement that is factually incorrect. For the benefit of the other users I pointed out your inaccuracy, at which point you then start to change your argument. Everyone knows your views on manuals, but keep things accurate and watch the abusive terminology as well please and thank you.
-
As usual Ron you are not letting the facts get in the way of your story.'Your point above is incorrect, the option is there for those that want it. As for "stocking" cars... We are not talking about white Toyotas here, the days of stock are long gone. Just take 3 Series, 4 models x 4 trim levels = 16 cars, x 2 for manual / auto of each = 32 units x 2 for wheel options = 64 cars x 5 for popular colours = 320 cars x 3 for interior upholstery x ?? For different options. No business can sustain that level of stock. That is why customers specify what they want on their cars and it is ordered for them. Not every one granted, but most. And funnily enough when they spec their cars and order they take the 8-speed. Not exactly controlled when customer choice is a key POD. Then there are the customer enquiry channels through CRM and dealer feedback... But hey, keep grinding that axe if it makes you happy!!

Over badging an X5... or is it M5 X5 5.0D or somthing
E30 325i Rag-Top replied to LemonHunter's topic in General Discussion
No, he is right, that is the badges from factory. Mind you, if I could afford an M50d I would want everyone to know about it, but then that's just me!
