Mmmm, Terry's chocolate orange now you're talking! You can get them here now - although they get smaller every year!I forgot about Pork Pies, added those onto my list... And Cornish Pasties, and a PROPER Devonshire Cream Tea with real clotted cream...
  2. Agreed, probably worth more than the $500, but your call! Listing the size and offset might help buyers as well. I take it from the tyre sizes they are staggered width, but the offset is important. GLWS.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but the truth is stranger than fiction.. Not much "English" gets made there, but lots of overseas companies have production sites there. Last year the UK built and exported more cars than they imported... and they weren't all MINIs, Rolls-Royce or Bentley (or are they all German now anyway ..). Nissan would be the biggest volume, plus also Toyota, Honda, etc.. And a few F1 cars as well apparently..
  4. The final bolt arrived so I can put all the new race car shifter mechanism bits together now!!
  5. ^^^yup, this. Funny how many people get the power pole bang in the middle of the bonnet! Look away and steer the bloody car.
  6. Never mind the over-priced VW, where are the pictures of the "FINA" M3 from the background??
  7. You can use a Motronic radiator with an Ljet motor - I swapped my engine from one to the other and didn't change the radiator. Will need to swap a few hoses over as well... Not sure if that helps...
  8. 4.44 diff is small case yeah, not medium case?

I think I recognize some of those Tunnocks packets, but not sure they will make it onto my buying list when I am back in the Mother Country. List is.. 1) Spitfire Ale 2) Jaffa Cakes 3) Percy Pigs from M&S 4) A proper balti 5) Cod'n'chips 6) Banks' Bitter Hmm, might need some more luggage allowance on the way back I think.
  10. What option code is showing for the suspension on the car? I think the old code was SA224 Sports Suspension and the newer code is SA704 M Sport Suspension Pretty sure the suspension is basically the same, I have never seen a model that has both codes available to choose, but then I don't deal with E90s much.

    Wtf is Tunnocks??
  12. I've done 170kph backwards at Puke, unfortunately it wasn't intentional.
  13. When you say it needs a cert, do you mean the repair cert or a LVVA cert for mods? Would be worth a lot more, and much easier to sell, if you got all the paperwork finished and the car reg. Got to be worth the effort?
  14. Maaattteee!!!! You're going the wrong way!! And I think you were speeding in pit-lane.. Looks pretty cool, and good fun. Unfortunately the race car is in it's normal state - in bits in the garage. Damn.
  15. It's not a triangle, it's a shark's fin - makes it way cooler!
  16. Nice car, looks in very good nick and glad to hear it is being looked after. In terms of a hard-top try Ethirty_Andy on here, he has found a contact in the UK and is looking to bring a couple over.
  17. E38 production numbers.. 1993 total 50, 750i 3 of them 1994 total 31,075 and 1,351 750is 1995 49,144 and 7,652 1996 50,156 and 3,453 1997 48,896 and 3,901 1998 46,563 and 3,703 1999 40,018 and 2,462 2000 38,980 and 2,048 2001 21,360 and 644 No break down on SWB/LWB though.
  18. I've got lots of Coupe ones if the shape is the same? Lengths would be different but could do some sort of rangi cut-and-shut?
  19. "You can spend a lot of money making a sh*t car go fast, but you are still left with a fast, sh*t car"
  20. Lots of good info on there, gives production dates for all the series (those that are listed, some are missing) but I can't find anywhere that it shows what volumes were produced in each year? I have a breakdown of E30 production by year, model, etc. but not for E38 sorry.
  21. Wow, really?? It wasn't me, as they didn't "authenticate" my account in time, so I wasn't able to bid over the internets... I was more interested in the burnt out 323i, what did that go for?
  22. The traffic in those endurance races is intense, such big speed differences between cars in different classes. Driver was a bit unlucky as the guy in front slammed the anchors on to avoid the car which had gone off. Was a bit optimistic trying to keep driving the bonnet all pushed up..
