From all the interest expressed already I would suggest your selling price is too low. Looking at the pictures of the car, and the work you have put into it I think you could get more for it. GLWS.

Such a shame for him to go so young, 35 is no age at all. Thoughts and sypathies with his family. RIP.

NZTA Letter of Acceptance? Importing M3 From UK
E30 325i Rag-Top replied to fred_'s topic in General Discussion
Rules change of 1st Jan, so anything arriving after that date must meet the higher standards. I'm pretty sure the E46 M3 DOES NOT meet the new standards. -
Hey Chris, got the bumper dropped off the other day, I'm well pleased with them! Thanks again.

Ñot got any S14s in the list Jono??

NZTA Letter of Acceptance? Importing M3 From UK
E30 325i Rag-Top replied to fred_'s topic in General Discussion
My importer tried exactly the same thing with me reckoned I needed this letter for $240, but I had already spoken to the local compliance guy and got the paperwork he wanted, so politely declined their offer. You would need to ask BMW Uk for the "Certificate of Compliance" or "CofC" for short. It's a double sided A4 sheet which lists all the EU regulations the vehicle conforms to in detail, specifically emissions levels. Got mine free from BMW after ringing their customer services centre. -
It depends what you are using the car for, and how many km's you do per year. Check out the difference per litre in the cost of diesel an petrol when you are the pump. Then work out the difference in economy between the petrol and diesel cars, especially if you are using the car for towing, or lugging lots of gear around. The extra cost of rego (even with RUC) is soon recovered.

Thanks for the link Josh, lots of E30 goodness. Anyone got more info on the black M3 with the gold rims, sounded awesome, and the Jagermeister car looked very quick?

I'm biased being a Pom, but to me you can't look past a diesel transit, especially the later turbo with electronic injection control on them. Many, many happy memories of blasting around the UK and Europe in Tranny vans. Has to be white, has to have a chocolate bar and copy of the The Sun in the front window, and England flags are compulsory for at least a month before any major football tournament . Other than that, they're great!

some older gentlemen may use these kind of gloves. Not sure Bimmersport is really the target market?
-
Another year older, another year wiser?? Have a good one mate!!

I wasn't having a dig at you - I would expect to see things like this mentioned on a car forum. I was more talking about how it's been reported on things like the BBC covering it.Found a translated version of the news report which talks about some of the drivers going to hospital, but no-one seriously hurt.

This story is all over the interwebs now, funny how it seems to be concentrating on the fact that the crash involved eight Ferraris and 3 Mercs, rather than how badly any people were hurt. Worse crashes, in terms of human fatalities, occur every day around the world but are not reported to the same level. Says a lot about the world today, sad.

Have a good one Mr B! Just one question - what are you doing on Bimmersport at 7 in the morning on yor Birthday???
-
Have a good day mate, leave the dirty jappas alone and play with the proper cars on your Birthday!!

Jack's usually racing with me, on the same track as Matt Griffin, but at the other end of the field!!

I would be keen for the Chrome bumpers, if there still available I'll organise someone to come and pick them up for me. Can you pm me your address and phone details? Thanks.

330 Coupe Motorsport edition 2004 NZ new

North or South Island? Be good to see it in Palmy, raising the general level of car standards! -
Bloody nice result for 6k! Check to see if the engine is one of the ones with potential swirl flap problems, and take them out if it is! Also keep an eye for turbo problems. Those are the main possible issues on the diesel, plus any general E46 problems.

A long drive for you to come and collect them Dan?
