yea i am sure its one of your mates then as it looks like a honda space saver wheel on the rear after they blew the tires on the chrommeys doing burn outs on diesel down your street
-
i think he will want to sell major stuff first before he decides to strip it?? like engine and 5spd kit etc . otherwise will sell car as it is complete but i suppose about $60 each for smily headlights would cover it
-
yes very much so.you need one from a e32 740i or e34 540i 5HP30 the early e38 740i ones look very similer , but the electric plug and electrics inside may be different , but maybe you can swap bits around to suit your car?? e39 540i are a sleightly smaller 5HP24 type
-
air in the system could be from a sleight leak , water gets forced out under pressure then as the system cools it sucks air back in then next time you drive it the coolant system will find it hard to keep at normal temp. could be slight leak around water pump seals , thermostat housing , side tanks on the radiator etc etc

water pump?? thermostat??

good cars , except for the twin sunroof set up. a reply email from the owner. "my question" hi . nice car , does it have the big twin sunroof , and if it does , does it work and how is the hood linning thanks brent. " the reply " Hello It does have a twin sunroof, but unfortunately it doesn't work properly. and am only able to open it sometimes. but when open it doesn't shut, have been left with it open for a few hours. The roof lining is good, with a little bit of sagging in the back Thanks ... so if it shuts and stays shut i suppose thats ok. but if it leaks , from worn seals , rust around the drain holes in the internal gutter system etc , beaware.

would make ideal race car donar shell , coupe , real basic , wind up windows , no sunroof , (thats no rusty sunroof) to deal with. no a/c i love the rev counter too.

have 540i set up in my e28, works fine , pulls up quicker, i also change the master cylinder to the 735i 750i type . but either way it works fine , no problems with the abs etc i did mine in stages , first the fronts , then the rears then the master cylinder , at each stage it made a differnce for the better. pulls the e28 up from 220km/h at pukekohe back straight to 50km/h for the hairpin with no problems see here or you could go for this set up http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....8&hl=brembo but will require 17" or larger wheels
