its a e36 wagon. 225/50-16 is the correct e36 tyre size but you have the wrong offset wheels , try going to 205/55-16" or rolling the gaurds etc

the larger rad used in e36 6cyl are the same as used in late e30 325i etc and they have built in trans oil coolers .so just think he doesn't know his bmw models very well

the auto's have a seperate trans oil cooler so wont make any difference but there are 2 sizes used in e36 6cylinder cars nz new and uk ones tend to use a smaller one with the built in coolant tank on the left (passenger side) (the tank can be removed for replacement etc) where as most jap imports etc have the larger radiator with the seperatly mounted coolant tank on the back of the rad on the right side(drivers side) i have both types if needed . good used ones 021433600

yes very comon for e28 , e30 e23 , e24 , small gear on the motor that drives the odometer barrols breaks or splits etc

flat battery , maybe caused by a short from water ?? or just an old battery and you had the door open to long with the light on

maybe a little , but i have a pretty pretty light early m20 flywheel (about 6.5kg) so it does drop down ok for me what flywheel are you using??

i just pull the trans light bulb out on mine . you can remove the auto trans ecu , will make no difference except make the car lighter. i haven't recoded mine , have had no problems etc. i think ross at bm workshop will do the recode pretty cheap

been for sale for ages , pretty messy install , ac no go etc etc. why bother when you can have a e34 540i for $2-4k in auto or make it a manual for a bit more or buy ian creaver's one already converted for $8k etc

you can use the factory thermo fan switch thats in the radiator to turn the ac fan on , maybe change it for one from a e36 318ti as they have a lower temp sensor and come on earlier. 2 temp settings and 2 fan speeds availible
