We were selling a car at the time, and i couldn't figure out why the car was shaking, then i looked out the windscreen, and saw the Honda bouncing up and down lol. Some dudes in a late model A8 pulled over on the other side of the road and were getting under their car, checking the tyres and the like looking for the problem. l Yelled out that it was an earthquake; and the relief on the drivers face was palpable haha!

not driving to the conditions is rightly classified as careless driving. If you lost control on a familiar stretch of road, in a familiar car, odds are 10 to 1 you were not driving to the conditions. Sounds like you have gotten off lightly, both in the fact of the warning, and most poignantly, that there was not a family traveling around the corner at the same time as you. I would suggest sitting the appropriate tests to have your condition removed, and then perhaps look in to a defensive driving course. Like the ad points out, you might be a capable driver, but other people are not.
