Just want to point out that the e91 is not as spacious as the e46 wagon imo. If it's just for the odd use then it's fine but if you need the space often the e61 gets my vote. They are cheap now too

The 2.5L N52b25 is alright in the e91 3 series but you will find the 2.5L lacking if you go for the e61. You will want at least a 530i or higher. Totally different cars in terms of size and how it drives. I personally wouldn't bother with the m54 versions in the new 5 series. There is nothing wrong with N series engines. If you want the e61 try to go for an LCI if it's within budget.

very cool but calypsorot on red leather is a bit much for me
-
i think you should buy it.. for $1500 surely the wife isnt going to be too mad about it
-
I dont see the appeal myself tbh It is quite cheap and if I was able to live with the cosmetics of a non msport with tan interior it might be alright but if I wanted it nice with msport kit etc and the maintenance side of things etc, i could spend $6000 on this car and still wont be happy with the outcome.. If it was really a bargain I reckon it would have been sold long ago, the fact that its still available shows its not that desirable imo.

very nice pick up bro! makes me miss my old e91 now..

I really wish he went for a classic BMW wheel like the mpar or maybe even the e39 m5 wheels but other than that it's perfect!

bump. Only medium and long black version left. Just $10 each now

Engine oil and filter changed last week. Bump - will put the style 66 back on soon. M-Pars will be up for sale soon also..

Very nice find indeed the 3L E91 msport wagon is a rare gem! Even comes with the u sell plate frames -score!!

What's the point of spending money to upgrade to msport suspension if you don't know the engine is gonna last? Of course there are safety components in the suspension that may require urgent attention but the above posts are talking about changing to msport shocks etc not maintenance.
-
i would get the timing chain guides sorted way before any suspension work though..

hahahaha Sj: shortest is about 2.5cm (Don't believe when people say size don't matter, it totally does!)

there are way more 194s available on the market as heaps of E90's came with them as opposed to the 97s which came on some motorosport spec E46 compact hatchbacks. They do pop up now and then so keep your eyes peeled on trademe etc. I have seen some for around $500. Note that the specs are a bit different for these two sets of wheels.

The mini is staying. Too much fun. But the 130 is up for sale or replacement for something stupid like a 4.6L X5
-
Wonder if they will trade-in my 130 for the blue X5... Tempting

My 530 which was nz new and imo top condition was sold for about half this asking price so its definitely not going to sell in a hurry. But that colour is amazing and if it has had all the cooling system and suspension parts sorted and is running perfectly I would say its worth $7-8000 to the right buyer.
