  10. Welcome You should know the drill, photos of car please!
  11. Looks awesome, wheels look great too. Now I really want a e36 to put my wheels on. Damn you! Not a fan of the shift knob but nothing major. Btw what does the badge say? Doesn't look like "328ti"
  12. Judging from his signature he is a plastidip expert. DIY wheels would cost you 2x $30 spray cans and some time not difficult. I did mine. Scratches will not make it peel off, gf curbed all 4 wheels and "ripped" some parts of the plastic but even after pressure blast they don't seem to be peeling off or anything. I'm not really a fan of the outcome, but the workmanship looks good. Maybe blackout grills, roof and spoiler would make it look a bit better. Big no no on red racing strips or any kind of stripes for that matter. Anyway, your car and I think it's a great eye catching marketing move.
  13. maybe best to just sell it and get a new one, or a nz new secondhand one, they are only going for about 6-700 now for near new condition ones. put it on trademe $1 reserve im sure it will reach 4-500 easily

  15. sounds like a lovely car, good luck with the sale. (what colour is it? haha) p.s. yep, they are certainly rare wheels, ive never seen a set before too, would love to see it on your car, i was planning to buy a e36 just so i can use the wheels instead of selling them!
  16. Hey man, there's a cellphone shop in town next to smith and caugheys, you can buy a sticker to put on your sim then hopefully you can use this phone. It doesn't work 100% but it's cheap and worth a try. Let me know how u get on. There are some other ways to get around can't remember right now but I'll think about it. Lol
  17. My father owned an Audi 80 wagon for like 5 years and never had a single problem, except when he fit new mags on the car and turns out the bolts were too short and only screwed in like 3 turns. One of the bolts came loose and was grinding against the centre cap plate (hence didn't fall out) but yep. Other than that, great runabout as far as I know from our experience. Aiden is selling the e46 318i sedan in Hamilton for 2500. Seems in good nick, otherwise have a trawl through trademe, I doubt any e36 wagons for 2500 but there are plenty of e36 sedans and even coupes for that price range.

I work just down the road from there lol and I know the boss but don't think he's keen
  19. ^ interested and good read. Anyways to take this topic back on point, I personally always wanted an E46 M3 with SMG rather than manual. Reason being, if I wanted a manual car, I would prefer to buy something else, maybe e39 m5 or maybe a Japanese car like a civic RR or something. I just feel that SMG is a great feature that is 'almost exclusive' to this generation of M3's and feel I should respect that by opting for it over the manual. By no means I'm hating on manual m3 owners!! I just think SMG is quite cool in its own way and suits the car somehow... I think this is a lot of car for 26k (or near offer!) and anyone in the market should definitely consider it! Low ish kms, lot of work done, sunroof (if that's what you like), etc etc. Anyways yea
  20. Hi all, I'm considering selling my personalized plates on my car currently, no rush or anything just seeing if anyone may be keen Recently had them remade but never used yet Will also come with the standard plates Looking for offers above 500 for now Thanks
