Very tempting to be honest, quite like the idea of a GSXR600. Especially as it tucks under the 600cc limit for higher rego I was looking at SV650S as a nice upgrade from the 400, but for the rego price and the purchase price I may as well get the SV1000S!

Only 12 years, 10 of which I've been on my restricted so not too long While they look awesome, I currently have an SV400S which is probably just as good, if not better! Right at the top end of what LAMS allows The litre bike comment was a bit of a joke haha, I'm not that keen to die just yet. Although the SV1000S does look tempting.... or perhaps a TL?

Passed my motorcycle full licence this morning. Does this mean I go buy a litre bike now?

Got my new battery in my motorcycle... wouldn't start. Removed all the fairings etc looking for issues. Was the clutch switch, so I needn't remove anything.... So why is this in "Life is choice bro"? Because I fixed it and it starts and runs beautifully now! I can finally get some practice and go for my full class 6! Oh and an SV400s is a million times the motorbike a GN250 is!

Picked up a waterblaster from the "Paul's Birthday" sale at Supercheap Auto today. Even better, tomorrow I get to play with it! Oh and blew >$150 of giftcards within hours of receiving them

Try browsing the "Seats" category in general parts. Now full of holden seat covers from an Aussie company. Went from 200ish listings to 450+ overnight, makes browsing for race seats a pain in the arse!

Found out the hard way that the fuel line between my extended range tank and main tank is rotten. Luckily only about a litre leaked out, but still pretty frustrating! Better make sure I don't fill my tank up too much before I can fix it! Petrol leaking from the top of a fuel tank was definitely a new one to me!

Finally got a WoF! Now to paint and seal so the rust won't come back.

Well yes actually, but not in reference to this weekend. That was last weeks fail, and I'm leaving that to an exhaust shop cos I can't be bothered with rusty exhaust pipe. The E30 failed on rust in the rear arches, under the fuse box, in the floor, and worst of all.... in the boot, by the left hinge, right in the corner (pretty hard to do anything in there!)

Does it have the seatback stamped for the ski access hole? Had a similar problem with my E30, knocked out the hole in the seatback and used loads of extensions to unbolt the catch. But I've never seen an E28 with the seats out so dunno if it'll work for ya.

I may, still a few bits and pieces to do to get a wof but we'll see.

Finally got my E30 going!!!! Thanks heaps to Jon at Auto38 for the ECU, turns out I had most definitely fried mine. Put the new one in and it started immediately. Next step: WoF!

2 hours? Definitely not with a trailer! For me the cost of gas for the range rover makes it uneconomical unless the car was free sadly

They are the same, have FL door on my PFL at the moment (rear). Hinges are slightly different but bolt up the same.

Spent some more time on the white E30. Getting pretty frustrated at the no-start situation, especially being 80% of the way to a solution. Basically everything works sweet except... injectors don't seem to be getting signal to fire. Possibly not getting voltage at all, but I don't know what to expect as everything on the interwebs is motronic specific so not sure what I'm looking for with L-jet
