  1. They have arrived. I'll PM everyone who has posted in here. Apologies for the phone picture
  2. I'm fairly confident it'll be tuned via VE Link has a base map for an m50 with all the preset settings on it. For example. If you've got a tuning cable, a wideband and a laptop i'd go for changing it yourself. I can add more if you choose to go down this path
  3. crappy vid butt its easier then me describing
  4. If the injectors were correctly modeled in the ecu, you shoudn't have any problems swapping in new injectors. Just change the master fuel and injector deadtime settings. If you go for well known injectors these settings will be easy to get/come with the injectors. Verify with a wideband after changing. You can change the some settings and use the vr sensor and/or the non vanos trigger settings. Very nice project,
  5. Thanks for the interest. I'll pm people when the parts arrive. A mate of mine has an e46 touring so I can check when they are ready. I'm also getting some rtab reinforcement plates cut. I'm only getting a couple because I may need to edit the design.
  6. team mc $55 each +gst ex Germany Coombes $51.18 each +gst Jerry Clayton $54 each +gst ex Germany If I can make them up for $30 a pair are people still interested? They'll should be ready to go late next week/ early the week after
  7. Which dealer? If they're cheap enough there's no reason to make them I'd tried the local dealer today and they were more than $34 each. During the call I checked pelican parts and found them for $32+ shipping for a pair
  8. is that a lifeline weld on quick release?
  9. Then trailing arm reinforcement are a weld in job Will do
  10. I haven't personally seen people weld these in before. But it wouldn't be a problem to have some mild steel ones made if people want them. I only went for stainless to avoid paint or zinc coating etc.
  11. For ease of install you could use an e46 m3 back end. Is the LS staying NA? Cage is looking good. Are you keeping the standard steering column?
  12. The reinforcement plates are currently $50NZ from turners motorsports excluding shipping. It shouldn't be a problem to beat that price. Here is the first quick sketch up I still need to print it in paper to check for clearances and other potential f**kups. I'd planned on making them out of 5mm stainless. If you'd like it to be different I'm happy to make something that'll suit your needs Me and a mate are getting a few things cut out at once to get a better price from the profile cutters. I'll try to get some prices tomorrow and see how far away my mate is from being ready Cheers Michael Id forgotten about making the control arm reinforcement plates.
  13. Are you in any rush for the plates? I was going to get some profile cut in the next couple of weeks

    318i coupe

This must be the reason my welder has rubber in it.. Very nice car. Have you got the traction control going on it?
  15. Would it not be cheaper to measure it up and get them profile cut? I'm also keen though. 2mm alloy enough?
  16. Good luck. I personally don't believe a rear diffuser will do anything if it is like the pic above. Remove the spare tyre well and it'd be more interesting. Are you drawing up the whole e36 in cad? or just analyzing them by themselves? I'd be more interested in paying for the cad files of an e36
  17. I haven't purchased that product in particular but have purchased other stuff through them. I think you'd be lucky to not get taxed For me they have always been good to deal with. Is this going onto a m20 or m30? If your after a Jimstim i can help you out.
  18. just your accountant. Who is doing the work? Are you using the non vanos head with all the valve springs etc?

    M3 headers

Just because it is magnetic doesn't mean it isn't good. For example if you weld 304L then put a magnet to it once it has cooled down you'll find it now sticks
  20. If the spring is still captive it doesn't matter if your shock has a longer stroke.

    M3 headers

Definitely use 316 wire. It might not be perfect but it'll be fine for an exhaust. Also a magnet will not stick to m3 headers

    M3 headers

It's either 304 or 316. I'd assume the flanges that mount to the head are 316. Are you modifying them?
