I've built one for a b16 motor. The support is really good and Josh really keeps the project going in the right direction- cheap and simple. I built mine for just under $100 (not including shipping)running alpha n. Currently trying to sort out Bluetooth to go to a tablet. If you are making an order send me a pm. I'd be keen for another or to get some boards made up

How much are you expecting this to cost? I completely agree with the guy from pitstop. I'd imagine you could get a fairly nice rear section that will bolt in for less than the cost of paying for this 'bmw performance exhaust'

They're definitely worth the money. Which swaybars are you using?
-
Does it have an lsd?

+1 to what Troy said http://www.lvvta.org.nz/documents/standards/LVVTA_STD_Engine_&_Drive-train_Conversions.pdf see section 4.3

Shock mounts front and back. Swaybar rear. That'll probably have it sorted. Nice work so far

I've got some m3 h&r sport springs that aren't really needed anymore. No shocks though

I personally like the layout of the thread. I've got a wheel alignment setup that looks almost exactly the same. I had some nylon pads for going under the tyres during use

You just want some top feed injectors. Some need adapters but the majority are what you've got. Also you'll probably want high impedance injectors. If you give your tuner a call they should be able to tell you exactly what to use. For injector info I usually use the witchhunter website.http://www.witchhunter.com/injectordata1.php

If you want something very cheap you could go for a speeduino ecu. Find someone who is keen to tune using tunerstudio(same as negasquirt).
-
What are you trying to achieve and how much would you like to spend?
-
Only part i didn't like was when he made tuning sound like some sort of black magic talent at the end. Great video though

Might want to check this thread http://oldschool.co.nz/2011/forum/index.php?/topic/51333-custom-lightweight-flywheels/

By lower performance do you mean less fuel economy? There's plenty of potential to make more power with the higher blends of ethanol. I found this to be a good read talking about water absorption http://epa.gov/OMS/regs/fuels/rfg/waterphs.pdf

Zf won't bolt up from quick measurements from the m111k and zf box I've got here. You'll need to fudge around a bit. Zf box from the 328 e36 or m3 5 speed. A very small % of people care about the brand attached to a part. If it suites the purpose slap it in there.

Another little tip for bmw and mercedes interbreeding. E36 struts will mount up to w201 knuckles. An m50 throttle body will mount up to a m111k inlet manifold with very little modification. And because every merc fan should know black smoke racing. Here's a bmw zf 5 speed in a merc. And on a side note a r200 diff can be made to fit the w201 by just adding a front mounting point. Resplining is another expense though There are a couple of guys that are into giving mercs a bit more power in NZ. I only found this out when I started selling off my project
-
If you'd prefer an easier option, I've got an m111k with mounts to suite a w201. Only wanting $400 for it. I've also got a 5 speed out of a sprinter van that'll bolt up to it, and a parts car that'll be going thatll be going to the metal man soon.

is -8 on the return back to the surge tank a typo?
