I've got a set of new brembo front rotors 300x22 for an e46, if your keen for a trade
-
i'd be interested to hear how you find the flywheel and clutch combo. Which option clutch did you go for? Mine also needed balancing
-
3pedals- wouldn't it be easier to buy some perforated tube and start from scratch
-
+1 for what Allan has suggested. If the seats are in bad shape I've got a simple tool that'll fix it

The third pin will be for the shielded wire. If you have access to a Bentley manual, that'd be the best place to check if I'm right. And if the shield negative and positive are around the right way

Engine position is determined by the camshaft sensor on the LS engines. - so the Internet tells me. Make up a 36-1 or 60-2 trigger wheel if it's going to be batch injection and wasted spark. Does link not have an option for LS trigger wheels

What goes into repairing the usual e46 subframe cracks? Is it much like the e36? e.g Weld up and add reinforcements (or in my case replace both cross members) Do you use the expanding foam as well?

nice merge collector. Did you fuse the inside and give it a grind? What wastegate are you using? -
Going from memory you'd need to smash a bit of subframe and steering rack before you bottom out the sump. You might be thinking of an xbrace

How much do you want to spend? Has it has a full service, scan and check over recently
-
Which bags did you plan on using? I could be able to help you out with welding the struts and getting them tested.

I've personally purchased a car that had a loan put on it 3 days before the ownership changed. A week before i'd got the check from carjam. NZTA never notified me of this. About a year after purchase the seller (who is/was a member here) missed some loan payments. Then I got this lovely pink letter This was the first I knew of the loan. There used to be a post about this on my build thread but it seems to of been removed. I could go on but it would seem someone didn't like me talking about it last time

brand? and more details.Do you work at wrs? I've got a Lincoln 180c mig welder. It'll be great for the usual rust repairs. It'll only go so far,it is still single phase. When you get to thicker materials but you can all ways get a cheap stick welder for that. Arc welding supplies are good to deal with if you wanted to know more. Remember to factor in the price of gas. It really does add up. I struggled for awhile with renting bottles from boc (it really is a struggle). But have now moved onto some owner bottles. There are some deals on trademe but I ended up getting a decent price from supagas for a bottle

This should absolutely, all ways be done.

that is a good price for the lsd. Where'd you get it from? The reinforcement plates look great. Did you get them profile cut? -
Your posts all ways entertain me Scott.

What are you going to do for the diff? Aftermarket internals or swap for m3? -
I'm looking for a quality tool chest for work with deep draws. Only dimension that is critical is that it isn't wider than 700mm. Will pay for quality. Next I'm after a big f**koff toolbox for the shed. As big as I can get for $1500. Can be of lower quality just need somewhere lockable to store tools

How harsh are the new cab? Have you put a grub screw or anything to stop the alloy rotating?
-
you can run vanos on megasquirt. The rising rate fuel pressure regulator will cause a few headaches for your tuner though. It can be done but you'd save time by switching back Flash tuning is possible and there are a few places in nz that will be able to do it for you. For the low power goals it'd be more than capable. edit: too slow

how much do you want to spend? how much can you do yourself? how long do you want it to take? if you'd like to diy it i'm sure there are plenty of people that can give some advice.

each injector is $20? or the whole lot?

Intakes have more lift and longer duration. The reason the exhaust valves are more likely to bend is because how the engine cycles. When the intake is closing the cylinder is on the way down. When the exhaust is closing the cylinder is on the way up. Glad there isn't foreign matter in the engine.
