Go see bnt or autolign or any other local supplier for bump stops. You should be able to get a few different types of bump stops. Which bushes had you planned on changing?
-
Have you removed the ac pulley from the crank? As silver fox said those bolts might need replacing with shorter bolts
-
put on shock and measure? are e30 lowering springs that hard to get?
-
my first guess would be your spark is dropping out at higher loads. Just another option
-
Where are you based? If your near Hamilton I'd be keen
-
I've got some style 30s with tyres if you want some cheap things
-
Where do you get bahco stuff individually? I tried a few places for a new ratchet and 21mm socket. Ended up being cheaper to buy another set. I needed replacements because they got pinched not because of wear. I'd absolutely recommend their socket sets to everyone.

im sure someone had a fun time welding the back of that merge. do you know the weight of the tube going in?

Looking to buy an e36 for the body wiring. The wiring will be stripped back to the bare basics to keep it road legal. Are the connectors for lights, dash, switches etc the same between sedan and coupe both cars are from same year 1996, so hopefully it'll be ok.

there's the problem. No fan. I was another sucker that believed what was said in US forums.
-
You might've missed the part where it says the fan was removed. It had run perfectly fine with the same part for 2 months before hand. Op learn from my mistake and at least run an electric fan.
-
Don't do it. I ran a lower temp thermostat, brand new water pump, radiator, hoses and BMW coolant. I'd removed the fan thinking it'd be ok. While waiting inline for the skid pad at Hampton downs the temp started going north. Also there was no noticeable gain in performance.

What's the next project?

i've also got some dobi front springs $50 in Hamilton -
looking forward to seeing how you get on. m42 oil filter?
-
yes I do. Are you in any sort of hurry for it? Need to check my new knob is ok first
-
love the thermostat work. Do you go on holiday and work on the cars all day. Or are you superhuman at smashing out projects? Kerry has a build thread somewhere on here. He also had an m54 with s50 itb's. Cut down oil filter, repositioned tps and maybe something else
-
Loving the build. Why are you wanting to go alpha N? Is it getting a big cam? personally I only use it when it's a last resort. What ecu are you using?
-
How does adding the m54b30 rotating assembly lower the compression? As far as I can remember block heights are the same and heads volume is about the same
-
aftermarket ecu and keep the vanos and sell (me) the gt1? I'm looking forward to seeing how this progresses

if your interested in seeing hat they should of been doing in those 5 hours read here http://ohiobimmers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3624 you'll need to register sadly
