Im not sure of the paint work cost as I had a lot of body work done at the same time. The bill came in over 20k for all the work including parts. The paint will be around 5k. Work done at Precision Auto Werks on the North Shore.

Sounds like how my day goes at work sometimes I would phone BMW NZ directly and get the proper skinny on it, Also maybe hit JC up. They have an electronics specialist there ... mind you it was the same person who told me my nav system couldnt be done.
