The box guards on the original car where there to accomodate larger width wheels. I this case they have tried to lift from a modern DTM car. On a road car shape the open flare thing just doesnt work. But I think the killer for me is the weird no point stickon things that come from the front gaurd up to the bonnet. It literally looks like the art teacher stepped out of the room and forgot to tell little timmy that his drawning was done 30mins ago.

I literally didnt post this because it fall s under the group of that minivan thing they loled up. This is a BMW site, not a children drawing competition.

Get a fabricator to do some stainless pipes and just pop on a remus or supersprint mid and back box. Will sound great and give good top end performance, Or just grab a HSV second hand mid straight through muffler (stainless) this is what I did ,with Remus rear .. works a treat

Legally you can be asked to be removed from their database right then and there. It falls under the same laws as email spam and unsolicited letterbox turd. Ask for the persons name too. I've done this a few times and it actually works. There was a case several years a go where a guy was constantly harassed by a company .. He ended up sending an invoice to the company for his time at his normal charge out rate of 70 per hour ... This was after he sent them a letter stating that if they continued to call his number that it was now a paid for service. Went all the way through the courts, he won and also won legal fees. Made a tidy profit from the company as I recall. The company also still had to remove him from the database and new legislation was introduced that if you want off you can get off their database.

Great battle with an original BMW 3.0CSL

I agree, there is just too much in Auckland for me to move anywhere else. I was raised in Christchurch and it is still home but AKL really does have it s**t together now. Especially if you are clever and worked your way around the peak hour traffic issues.

Hmmm I dont really see a bubble personally. There really isnt enough housing to go around, including the rental market. Its going to be 5-10years before the new sub-divisions are all up and running. People still want to own a house close to Auckland CBD. Unfortunately Auckland is now Sydney.

I'm sorry but anything a bank + nz herald + stuff + says weather want you to believe it or not are creating hype to create business. Yes its driven by by demand, but that hysteria is being driven by media ad placements. On top of all this the numbers of average prices are being slanted by the fact there is just mostly no first home buyers are keeping the average sale price down. Anyone trying to sell a house at the moment in the first home buyer price bracket is wanting more than top dollar for theirs driven by the Auckland city council and its agenda. The high percentage of first home buyers aren't stupid. They're not going to pay on the whole for more than somethings worth as there is no value that they can add for more than 10 years. This leaves 2nd home buyers who are cashing in and trying to step up and reset their mortgages back to 20% equity (or more). The second or third home buyers market is enjoying a buoyant time at the moment. Although the middle investment mums and dads have just hit the skids with the 30% equity thing

I think they will be fine ... The problem with established TV is it has every man and its dog on set all getting paid, If youve ever been on a professional filming or TV series braodcast you would be amzazed. In this country we keep it fairly lean too compared to over seas. Imagine carting 40+ people around the world when really all you need is 6 (including the presenters) ... To get great video. Drive managed to do it with only a few small crews. Todays cheap 4k systems are making anyone able to give it a crack.

hmmmm Im sure talk nicely to Michael and he'll cad some up .... laser cut + press brake = done.

Agreed, I would look into it a bit further _if_ you want your car back and repaired to your standard. I hate to say it but it all sounds a bit opportunistic from what you're describing. I know its a total hassle, but you do sort of have the right to challenge/ question this whole thing. If you've made your mind up you want a new car, sweet as.

I think at this point in time Car manufactures are only interesting in what you do with it while its under warranty. Which is totally fair enough. However, there are parts of ECUs that record what a driver does at what time.. this has been going on since 1996 in BMW ECUs.

Yeah watch that too .. Tow yards will try anything to get hold of wanted cars for cheap... its happened more than once recently. Sighting high towing costs for recovery and big damage expensive repair rar rar rar. At the end of the day chassis rails can be repaired, transims can be cut and plasma welded back in and panels / trim replaced. Who towed it? Why did they not tow it to your chosen repairer and only to their yard? Or did you only decide that after the fact. (totally understandible)

What you would of experienced is just a drop in temperature and air pressure with the colder weather. Both of which the MSS54 base ECUs measure and lookup these tables and adjust timing against knock values to suit.
