What you would of experienced is just a drop in temperature and air pressure with the colder weather. Both of which the MSS54 base ECUs measure and lookup these tables and adjust timing against knock values to suit.

If they write it off .. make sure you have first right of buy back. And chat to Ray (if you havent already) im sure he has a bunch of ideas.

hmmmmmmm yeah.. BMWs target market isnt us (enthusiats) its people who own the car cause its the hot new thing and will replace it in 3 years for tax/ego purposes. I doesnt suprise me at all.

BMW stopped using its number to denote liters a long time ago. Its their to denote what the car spec is. The motor is secondary to this. A 320 isnt the same thing as a 330, engine aside.

Serious question, where did you get the wing from... ? A certain race car build may be after something similar. PS if your ever after the proper BMW font for any graphic work ... give me a yell I have the whole set. Same as the one in my sig.

Ahh sorry to hear ..... i'm sure with the insurance $$$, Ray will sort it out for ya. Doesn't look too bad. Gotta love other peoples driving aye following to close on the motorway. I try leave a decent gap for myself in front not only for myself but for the chad up my ass who apparently has lighting fast reflexes, a big brake kit and brand new high end tires (in their mind) . This isnt always easy in rush hour though.

Seems right ... its cheaper than say an Rx3 or GTO. spot rust is normal on cars of that age .. its a good sign it means its been used which is better than something sitting around for that price with un-told mechanical issues. Remember an m325i is commanding 15k upwards these days.

hahaha awesome. I love the ones that sit at the green lights even though the traffic has well and truley left. Or honking at them juuuuuuuuuuust before the light youre on turns green by the time they look up (and sh*t themselves) its green, and they think theyve been there for ages.
-
If your going for the look i think you are, you can get 35% profile tires over say 40% ... they look way better and looks less nznissancefiroflatpeakwayfarer, fk453 225/35r18 if theyre 8.5 ... as you go down in width of the wheels just drop the tyre size from there. Added bonus of it benefit legal too.

Will look quite different ... that gold should suite the paint colour nicely. The whole package will be a bit of a looker for sure.
-
Car looks really good, awesome work. And I love how you have the extra travel but it doesnt compromise on the over all look. You must be stoked how it all turned out.
-
You can, I have one in my 540. Its cordless too for extra win.

Well its definitely Queenstown looking back to queenstown from the Kingston Road. They seem to like it here as people dont know what it is round here and 0 real motoring paparazzi

BMW has released new details on its upcoming next-generation 7 Series sedan including one particularly amazing feature. The German automaker wants to set a new benchmark for luxury and technology with the 2016 BMW 7 Series model and has revealed that the new sedan will weigh up to 287 lbs lighter than the current model. The weight savings is made possible thanks to the Carbon Core at the heart of the 7 Series’ body structure and is based on technology developed by the company’s i sub-brand. According to BMW, the carbon fiber material also helps increase torsional rigidity and strength on the sedan. SEE ALSO: 2016 BMW 7 Series Spied in Aggressive Trim BMW also revealed that the new 7 Series will benefit from a turbocharged six-cylinder engine offering while its handling performance will be enhanced with the first electromechanically-driven Dynamic Drive roll stabilization system. But the biggest news is that the 2016 BMW 7 Series will be the first production car to be able to park itself using a remote control. The remote control option will allow owners to get out of their vehicles and have the 7 Series park itself in extremely tight parking spaces and can tell the vehicle to enter or exit a parking space fully automatically through the BMW Display Key. The technology is still being discussed with regulators in some countries as BMW works on getting it approved in all markets. Another first for the 2016 BMW 7 Series will be gesture control, the ability for the car’s infotainment system to understand gestures and the automaker believes it’ll be an industry first. The system uses a 3D sensor to detect hand movements and the gestures can be used for numerous functions including controlling the radio’s volume and accepting or rejecting phone calls. For track for the e36 on stock rotors, you just cant go past Pagid yellows. They're not really a road pad so only for swapping in for the track, but Jesus they're epic. Believe it or not Racebrakes in NZ offer these for very competitive prices compared to overseas.
