  1. I think people have missed that this is not an occupancy sensor code its the belt pre tensioner. Which if bypassed will not operate as usual in a crash.
  2. Good point. Wonder if the dealerships do it that way?
  3. ^ dont count on alot of respect when advocating dodgy repairs on safety systems. Been discussed to death. Cliffnotes, do it once do it right
  4. I havent had much to do with audio for a while but you may be best looking at marine audio stuff. Its a common place for car audio and tv surround systems to merge. Best of luck
  5. Any bulb errors on dash? And late model enough to have celis lights? Ive seen a few people on here need lighy control modules but not sure of that would cause this issue. Im sure someone will pipe up with the right answer
  6. Have seen it done. Usually to reduce coil heat. In saying that they are usually mounted over the intake not exhaust. And using better than oem coils. All the wires grounding on one bolt speaks to the quality imo
  7. Discussion has been made. If you want heres a good option. If you disagree go to the discussion thread. Only fair way
  8. My mrs has been driving the 540i this week while im.away because she likes the seat heaters
  9. Turtle wax upholstery cleaber in green spray can from supercheap. Then follow up with proper deoderisor. Meguiars or novac from sca again. Or pull out wet well and scrub with washing powder. Rinse and dry. Not good with new seats full of electrics though
  10. I dont think the buyer will care about 11kph to be honest. That interior wood is abit hard to pallette though.
  11. Saw a sexy e30 in sydney. Also saw a few other sexy things that i cant discuss here.
  12. Very common for new ones to be metal. Most people refuse to use plastic again as its a big weak point

    Benz E63 AMG

An off switch is always appreciated though
  14. You cant sell that andy
  15. Better not lose a badge.
  16. I had quite abit of play in my lower arm bushing on the back of my 740i. More the front bush on that arm. Though i never got those issues. Just more tyre wear
  17. Also as anyone who has gone for a cert can tell you. Cert guys are old. Almost all are over 50 and they have added like 3 new guys in the last decade. Its a very ling process to get to be a cert guy. Like 5+ years. And what happens when all the current guys retire?. Mark stokes has been working to get his son in to replace him but his 20+ years building cars has been deemed insufficient experiance by the higher powers
  18. Ffs. Make it a set fee plus dollar per hour for the cert guy. So if you do it properly and go in prepared it costs less. Or go to the overseas system of a log book where you can add mids as you go for a set amount per mod. Save people driving uncerted until the car is finished
  19. Really i hadnt heard that but its a shame. Why should a cert for new wheels cost as much as certing a home made spaceframed racecar.
  20. Think we decided on a 12a rotary or a nissan td42 diesel
  21. Darn was hoping my mercedes gearbox would fit
  22. Done. Lets see if he knows if my merc parts will fit this car?
