BMWs, but not necessarily because of the cars themselves, but the awesome people I have met along the way, many of whom are good friends now and having a place to crash in almost every city in NZ because of it (and they all having a place here in Wellington) also has its advantages!

so looking forward to this

Please ensure you tell whoever buys them they MUST use aftermarket longer wheel nuts!!!! seen too many without that now. there is a reason why this sh*t is illegal without cert

OEM M20 exhaust is not bad, not droney, and the two mufflers are not where the restrictions are for performance. The main restriction is the log type manifold on RHD cars. Headers in plsace of that before you start changing the exhaust itself around. Having said that, was in an M20B25 recently that was all stock except for the rear back box deleted and straight piped there. Too noisy for my cabby, but would be fine for a hard top E30. Didn't sound too bad, for two $10 bits of pipe and an hour on a welder

The speed bumps along my street The Falcon and WRX that don't notice the speed bumps on my street The traffic lights at the end of my street The state of the stream and park on my street The council flats at the other end of my street The lady that screams at her kids one house down on my street The scum arguing/fighting/smashing windows across the street The red nose pit bull, also across the street On the bright side, none minds the convenience of having an operational BMW junkyard on their street.

mine was sourced straight from the dealer, and was not rolled up, supplied in a large flat box. backing said BMW original teile on it, did yours? I would be surprised if Milland one is, his parts are very good quality, and most of the time the same manufacturer as OEM, eg Bosch, Lemforder etc but they are still not genuine BMW ok havent heard of ados f2 do i get that from model shop too, or m10 mega etc?
-
yup best to retrim the ones you got etc. Cabby and touring have all the same suspension and brakes etc underneath, regardless of engine type. Unlike sedan and coupe which are dependant on engine etc. looking forward to some pictures!! Blair, is Jase still in the scene or has he gone backwards?

i was being a bit sarcastic, forgot to press sarcastic font button. last season and the one before it hit the perfect balance. this season however, i am 5 episodes in and not a single decent car review except for a brief one on the BMW i8 which i did enjoy, but only because it was from the brand i like. would love to pedal an i8 some day. (do you pedal it, or turn some potentiometers to make it go???)

Ok got a couple questions for you guys! This relates to my BMW 325i Convertible, but apples to any BMW of this age, etc 1/ hood liner i replaced the foam hood liner in the engine room, with genuine BMW part. these are supplied with adhesive backing from new, you peel the plastic off like you would a sticker, and put it on. In 1990, of course this lasts 15-20 years, however as with all dealer supplied stuff its new old stock, and the glue is already perished. 6 months after install it is peeling away again. What should i use to stick it back? bearing in mind it goes onto a painted metal surface, so the "glue" must not be corrosive 2/ window grease my other question is maintenance of the sliders for the window regulators. I am particularly concerned as without looking i am very sure they will be cabby specific, so i don't want to stress them any more than needed. the graphite paste is usually totally lost its lubricating effectiveness by now, all mixed up with water and gunk. what should i use to lubricate it, and where can i buy it? BMW shrugged their shoulders when i asked, and no part number available I have new clips here ready to go, providing they are the same as E32/E34/E36, i suspect they will be but i can't remember Cheers team! let me know if you want pictures etc. Andy
