all that torque vectoring. but the look is far too aggressive for an otherwise supposedly sedate city car
-
Rewired the selfdimming rearview mirror. the thing still works!

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-641171637.htm This abomination is up for sale.

^ Registered in NZ in 2006. Probably was facelifted in Singapore.
-
why I say "no value" is that the Singapore stigma seems to have made such cars harder to move, at least in the regular e39 sense. And I suppose a PPI cannot be trusted?
-
^PPI is needed then. Maybe because it is a SG import it seems to have no value?

WTB: E30/E34 Touring or E30 Cabriolet (found!)

I did that with the Latio, lovely car, but an E39 Motorsport turned up a month later that I could buy at the time. :sigh: -
^ I think euro 2 is the older spec car. Euro 3 came into effect year 2000 so it is possible the car was built pre '00s.

Black box with 6 fuses in the back of the Touring
lord_jagganath posted a topic in Electrical system
There is a black box with 6 fuses (4 on top, 2 at the bottom) on the inside of the clip down compartment on the left rear end of the car ( on the opposite end of the washer bottle) what is it and what can make it make such an "weak wheezing alarm" sounding electronic sound? I'll take a photo of the unit in the morning. -
You have a point there, Allan. Fuel consumption may be higher. It's just that at the moment I feel that the speedo is over reading, 100 is actually 95kph. (no way of confirming this at the moment) Got the car from Tauranga actually, but I can get a freight company to pick up from palmy for under $150 bucks. The borbets look good though...

Good point guys, the acceleration is leisurely as it is ... 5% increase would lead to even less acceleration ... but better top end i suppose.. Other option is to get it and put lower profile tyres ... 55, but there's that added cost.. :sigh: oh well, will keep exploring.
-
Oh .. Yes That was just to show that the tire is 5.7% larger in radius than the stock. What I am concerned is is that legal?
-
^ Holy moly, where did you get them from? Reckon they'd have any older BMW rims around?
-
Graham, those double clutch Ford, was it a sales rep car?

what about the E39, mate? http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/...n-625271563.htm -
Wanker at work played the report. He hates Euros with a passion (yet calls himself a proud Dalmation). mentioned that it would be better to get a $20k Toyota. HAH. Same wanker had his Hyundai Sonata in the shop with electrical issues within the first week of ownership. Heh, reliability and passion seem to be at loggerheads with each other. and some owners are just stupid.

I am thinking of getting these with decent rubber, http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=638488940 However, my existing rims are 225/60-15. Tire Size Comparison Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference 225/60-15 5.3in 12.8in 25.6in 80.5in 787 0.0% 235/60-16 5.6in 13.6in 27.1in 85.1in 744 5.7% does that 0.7% make all the difference? Would it be too high? which make these http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=638678581 attractive as they look good and are only 0.9% oversized. (and 250 cheaper). Gotta love style 5s though.

Howard, I'd say slow and easy wins the "perfect" BMW race. I think you know what I mean -
Looks like it came off a 318ti.... and looks rather odd IMO
