If that's a genuine Zender rear wing I've got a blank cheque for your client should they wish to part ways with it!

The seats themselves are ace - so much better than flogged E30 leather comfort seats which look like they belong in the 60's, but why oh why did they go with red when there's a million and one wrecked E90's with black seats about. ESPECIALLY when the rear seat has been re-trimmed as well! And the rest of the interior is blue! Was the owner a big fan of Superman? -
https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/330d/listing/4536568597 Can't be too many cars with steering wheel heating AND rear seat heating! Perfect for the drive up to the Remarks. Very keen to hear from owners whom have gone from M57 to N57, and whether I'm going to miss much by not holding out for an N57 335d? Especially as I've got a Racechip GTS just sitting on the shelf doing nothing. cc @balancerider

Tidied the garage and got stuck into some polishing... ...I own near $3K worth of DA and rotary polishers from Rupes and De Walt which are some 1700km away from me, and boy are my arms tired! An "acceptable" mirror shine by hand with a single hand pad and bottle of cutting compound, but it just shows how rooted the clear coat is. I'm dearly missing my proper gear. There's so much CMA thrown over the roads down here over winter, and I daily drive it in snow with snow socks that I shouldn't get too worked up about it.

https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/325i/listing/4547906155 I'm sure we've all seen it... -
+1 on gummi pflege, you won't get a better product. iirc it was actually in the etk back in the late 90's.

Looks bloody awesome! Just *how* negotiable are we talking? I've been eyeing up FL 20d's (also thin on the ground) for the coming snowboard season.

Is there gonna be a 16-years-later photo-shoot 👀

SJ cornering the vert market 😂 -
God I wish these were easier to fit to the E9x 335. @HELLBM Ray did you to the retrofit to the white 335d wagon way back when? How hard was it?

What about a set of style 8's? https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/car-parts-accessories/wheels-tyres/alloy-wheels/listing/4525472020

Is that Storm Motorwerkz shift knob a clue as to where Nick's M3 ended up

Oh my! Needs a 118d badge 😂

Just doing some digging around the topic, but hooooly sh*t, there were five (5) new McLaren's registered in 2023. Absolutely brutal.

On trademe currently, but jeez an M2-Comp looks good on M4 rims
-
Looks great SJ! Is that the factory M-Performance front lip? Wish I had as many container sheds as that, place looks mean.

Old age. Be 18: fall 30ft and walk away without a scratch. Be 40: Slip on stairs and end up with a knee brace, crutches and a laundry list of pills before needing to be assessed for ligament surgery. Even more galling as I'm super active, run 5 times a week and golf nearly as much. Will have to be religious with my rehab to gain proper ROM back. At least I've got an excuse to sit on the couch and watch 8hrs of tennis a day now!

What does a 330e fall under? Was thinking of making that my next car.

The second "executive spec" nz new M5 finally rears its head. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/m5/listing/4507767814 A real shame they had the poverty pack rock-hard standard E39 seats instead of the supremely comfortable E38 chairs - you can tell the difference by the much wider head rests in the E38 spec chairs. Chrome trim does the E39 no favours either. @balancerider see above for pics of your spot today...

Aren't they metric? I imagine finding tyres these days would be an order of magnitude harder as well.
