This came out for the Maretai cruise(?) way back when. Not often a Rieger kitted M30 turbo E30 gets the show stolen from it. The guy who built it was a truckie and a bit of a legend.

I want a 6-spd Le Mans Blue LCI with updated iDrive, hydraulic steering and sprinklings of BMW Performance tat, not too much to ask is it?

I wouldn’t pay more than $40k for a Competition, let alone double the price for a base spec.

Following along with interest, galvanic corrosion is an utter bastard to chase down. Don’t have anything specific to add, but I’ve had a couple of issues on steel hulled super yachts over the years where the culprit causing the corrosion was so far removed from the issue that I wouldn’t have believed if I hadn’t found it in the first place.

I didn't realise Alpina was actually a ship manufacturer, that must explain why the motor was the basis for their E4 / E5 range of engines.

LTW flags were all the rage for a while about a decade ago. Blame the E36 M3 LTW. There’s a fiji green E36 up in the hibiscus coast with a full touring car spec LTW flag which has to be seen to be believed.

Well built car. Properly thought out suspension and the tuning was done by Gavin. It's loud though, you'd have to love attention to drive it. Ask BMDubs what he sold it for? Edit: sound system CRANKS as well.
