Car got a fair bit of love in the past 3 days: Fresh oil / Cabin Filter / Oil Level Sensor Smoke test for vacuum leaks - all good New ///Msport door sills - old ones were very tatty Black BMW rego pouch from https://filthydog.co.nz/ beats the old orange VTNZ one Secondary cats removed - Supersprint has woken up a bit now - sounds great without being obnoxious at all Replaced old rusty wheel bolts with some gold bling - quite like them - thought I would try and looks good IMO with the gold interior

Saw it this weekend with a new plate - 'RASPY'
-
Fair enough, sorry dude - I knew as soon as I typed that It would end up being a Bimmersporter ?
-
The user who made that comment is the same guy who offered $14k for Secniv's E36 M3 (listed at $32,500) - so likely just a tool.
-
Fair enough! Very unusual - 3 nice manual coupes (2 very nice) just went up on FB this avo for $13k, $14k and $15k ?
-
Damn, wonder why its $1 reserve - looks great, Manual, low kms, 2005, great colour combo...

Just popped up on my Instagram feed - one for @Herbmiester

Is This Where The E30 Market Is Now..?
Sammo replied to E30 325i Rag-Top's topic in TradeMe discussions
Yeah, I would prefer a 6cyl but I think given the rarity of a 318is and condition, looked good - went to an AKL member too so keen to see it sometime. Good luck! -

325i SE manual coupe in black on TM for $16k... Seems like a decent buy... -
Stunning car - looks in top condition too

Never has an Aventador been so invisible!

Today I gave the car an oil change with Penrite HPR5 5w/40 (thanks Repco sale) a new Hella Oil Level sensor, a new Mann oil filter and a fresh cabin filter. Also did a smoke test for vacuum leaks (more out of interest than concern) with a smoke machine I bought on Trade Me a few weeks ago - no leaks! Thanks to @zero and that 50s kid for the idea. Was out at the JDM vs Euro meet with a few E46 bros from Facebook yesterday enjoying the sunshine too - an incredible McClaren Senna was there, only to be outdone when the only Senna LM in Australasia showed up ?
-
Its an odd car, kind of seems like it was much loved / had plenty spent a few years ago but has been a bit neglected for a while
-
I don't think I've seen a decent 330ci manual go for less in the past year TBH

my 'other' Euro car (hint - it's a Frenchie.....)

Couple of pretty special cars there! -
Up the budget - this is a bargain IMO https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/2825486072?bof=b1GbOlw1

Scary sh*t... Not as bad as this, but last year my wife was driving along in a residential 50 zone and an old SUV full of young guys overtook, side swiping her as they went and just carried on laughing. Probably stolen cars on both counts I would guess.

I must say, this Audi is cursed! Been at Panel Beaters all week and was supposed to be taking it up North this afternoon but now it won't be ready Monday as some extra part hasn't arrived... Also has a CEL for O2 sensor, leaking VCG and needs a door control module which the dealer is 'sorting' albeit in an extremely slow and frustrating fashion... At least the E46 is looking nice today ?
-
Have you seen the black one on Trade Me? Its also here on Bimmersport. Looks like a very well sorted car
-
Check out 'Mewant wheel wrap' on Ebay for your wheel type - heaps of options. I've bought two from them, first was pleather (as a tester of sorts) and was a lot thicker - this real leather one is a bit thinner and very nice indeed.
-
Fair enough, my second effort was definitely better than the first, but not perfect - luckily I went black stitching on black... Your car must be a little weapon on the back roads!
-
Not sure about OP but you can get real leather wraps in custom styles (smooth / perforated / suede / centre stripes) from ebay for under $100 which fit like a glove and DIY in a few hours. The alcantara bits I imagine cost a little more.

Looks good man, steering wheel wrap is such a good mod.
