Ugh yeah. Nasty. On the other hand my 20 year old coolant pipes on the Toyota V8 are still in perfect condition, they very rarely go wrong, typically if the cooling system is very neglected. Obviously purpose made non recycled plastic for those parts!

Bugger Nick! At least it sounds like your getting it sorted out. Those pipes are probably the originals by the looks, 11 years... then again they should have lasted longer if it weren't for those BMW accountants.

Yes, definitely get rid of the 'own taste' decals in the interior. Such things don't help to sell the car to a potential buyer, and it can also give them the impression the cars been 'fiddled' with. When it comes time to selling a car, or house for that matter, neutrality is best, personal touches usually make people go cold or offer a lower price if they don't like it. Just saying
